Vittorias have become very difficult for the whole tire is fuzed including the latex tube. The tube won't shift if ever deflated, but it loses it's suppleness. They are repairable, but very delicate to handle. The higher price tyres are worth fixing. I recommend putting a layer of liquid latex on the basetape before glueing onto the rim. The basetapes are too porous and adhere too well and removing the tire, if needed, can sometimes cause the tape to pull off some of the carbon layers on the rim. I replace the basetapes with Velox for the tpi is much higher than some of the OEMs. Remember, only use latex adhesives around latex tubes.
