So true,

Life is way too short to be unhappy doing something that dominates so much of our time.

When team members leave senior management assumes it was " money" but rarely is that the case. As I shared in my post http://www.nosmokeandmirrors.com/2013/04/21/why-do-star-salespeople-leave-it-is-not-what-you-think/  if instrinsic needs are not being met they validate their unhappiness with extrinsic measurements like Money.

Great advice I will be sharing

4. get out in your market once you understand why they left and make sure others are not about to leave as well.

It would be rare that just one account has a reason to leave.

I agree, face to face still wins over phone and email.

As the VP of sales, face to face provides valuable current market data points to insure your sales process mirrors how your buyers are buying and I discuss in my recent post http://www.nosmokeandmirrors.com/2013/03/10/1458/
