@rombout I can see how doing animations can get it into your workflow to a point you use it for stills as well... video is just a lot of stills in the end. They do tend to pack more power - one example is the new DEEP Image editing which is super cool... see a glimpse of it in the video

@Scott Struik You might have liked to see some people, but the billionaire buying an apartment there might not ;) Those square windows are BIG, and obviously the view from them is the big focus and maybe they just wanted to keep it all clear and open up the views...
Anyone buying in is going to redo the interiors so why bother vs. putting the strengths on top?
There is also the film - which is the main thing... so we only see a small glimpse of it all.

@PaulStein Don't hate it - any feedback is good feedback... I'm sure kim will take this into consideration. I know he is re-working all past volumes to make them better and nicer so he might make a round of improvements on this one too. Being based on GrowFX should allow for easy update I'm sure.

Switched the 3d Warehouse embed model test above to the NNG model mad for 'The Museum' Challenge. It is not as low poly as most of the 3d warehouse models are so seem a bit sluggish in the viewport... would love it if you give it a go too and let me know how it runs for you.

I wouldn't go far saying they have little clue, since they had the biggest clue of all! It is an issue of evolution and I feel SketchUP fails to adapt fast enough.
@fillieverhoeven @ronenbekerman @SketchUp I can second that on the WIN version too. Now that you mention this the material / texturing panel could use some work within the SketchUP context and most definitely considering the many render engines that work from within SketchUP today. The current thumbnail system is not helping much and I think the SketchUP team should consider putting in place the groundwork for 3rd party add on's to build on top of.

@whitebirchstud When I mention levels, I refer to tweaking these in Photoshop for example. For actual ZDepth made to fit a specific range re-render is needed. To avoid that I usually have 2-3 ZDepth Passes with different distances input... to cover more than one base ;)
