OMG, osu fans are like a broken record. Whine, whine, whine they can't accept the fact that Michigan does, and always will, own the overall record against osu. And after Michigan beats their sorry butts this year, osu fans will break out the Whine and cheese and continue to say how they dominate Michigan, total BS. Let's hope idiot child, BenHopkins, here lives up to his promise and disappears and we won't see him here again. You're proving a point all right and it's all about the shape of your head. Just answer one question...Who owns the Overall record between Michigan and osu? Enough said, and Michigan will continue to own that record forever, they will beat osu this year and probably from now on like they did in the '80s and '90s. Your excuse that..."ooooh, Michigan is older than we are"...is lame to say the least. Grow a pair and accept the fact that Michigan is better than osu and always will be and move on. Most people realize that the only way osu could compete with Michigan is through nefarious means.

What kind of cheese would like with that "Whine". Excuses, excuses, excuses. That's all osu has to offer. Continue to ignore the overall record all you want, but the fact remains Michigan owns osu, plain and simple. osu will never lead in the overall series, so osu fans must continue to offer excuses and whine about how history doesn't really count. Again, the only fact osu fans can't get around is that Michigan leads the series, between the two schools, and always will.
@ILoveHaters It is painfully apparent that your inability to process complex trains of thought,(that means two or more), at the same time, leads you to respond on a base level. The only level I'm sure you understand. Your response has nothing to do with the topic at hand. So here is what we are going to do, I will break it down to its most simplistic form,,,, Michigan 58 wins, osu 45 wins and 6 ties. Now take your time and try to comprehend,(oops that word may be too big), I mean try and understand what those numbers mean; and then figure out who has the better record. I'll give you day or two to figure it out. If you need help, it's all right, go ask someone for help.
Obviously with the limited education you received at osu, you apparently don't know what the word "intelligent" means. Which is understandable. So because of your limited understanding of the English language you probably won't be receiving an intelligent answer from anyone. Especially from those who don't agree with your logically challenged assertions.
@DamianDaugherty @Kilt1iron @ILoveHaters
Not too mention that there are not enough decades in eternity for osu to ever hold a lead in the series with Michigan.
@Kilt1iron @kiddet @ILoveHaters
Please don't act the fool. It's osu's selective memory that prompted my post. I'm not saying the last three years is the measuring stick with which to judge the osu/Michigan series. What I'm saying is that if the "excuse prone" osu fans choose to use a selective memory over the last ten years, Michigan fans should choose to use the results over this three year period as their selective memory period. The correct answer is that Michigan dominates the overall W/L record between the two schools. But again the "excuse prone" osu fans refuse to acknowledge this fact.
Yes, who wouldn't be?
All I ever hear from osu fans are excuse after excuse after excuse. Grow a pair and accept the fact that never in your life time will osu ever lead in the Michigan series. After Michigan beats osu this year, osu fans will continue to use their selective view of history to justify their insatiable need to think they are better than Michigan, which will never be. I can hear it now, after Michigan beats osu, Michigan fans will tout Michigan's overall record against osu and osu fans will say osu has dominated Michigan this century. If they want to take that approach then they will have to accept the fact that Michigan will have beaten osu two out of the last three years. And Michigan will begin to point out that order is beginning to be restored to the universe. osu fans say Michigan beat them in their worst year, that won't be the case this year, but using osu's method of justification for osu's loss to Michigan, then it must be accepted that Michigan's experiment, of completely changing their style of play to the spread offense, was the cause for Michigan losing to osu for three years, they were truly Michigan's worst years.. Once that system was abandoned and Michigan went back to "Michigan football" they beat osu, as will be the case again, this year.
It's painfully apparent that you won't be taking that trophy home for grammar. Something I'm sure they don't teach at osu. But hey you don't need to know how to read and write to play football at osu. The only reading your team does is the "rap sheet" down at the station.
Gotta love Mark May, anyone who hate osu can't be all bad. Screw the buckeyes.
WTF is up with the video? It says the video is private. WTF is that supposed to mean? You post it on SLR and then tell your readers its private, that is obviously BS.

And for the most part he seemed like an intelligent player. But such is not the case. His explanation after the game, about his actions, clearly show he actually doesn't get it. It will be interesting to see how the Lion's organization will handle the situation. We know how the league will handle it, he will be suspended. Fairley take notes.

Next week's game is no walk in the park. But I think for all Detroit players and fans it will be a lot easier heading into the bye week with a win than it will be with a loss. Lions need to think positive and KNOW that they CAN beat the Falcons. GO LIONS!

You basically said it, there is absolutely no connection between preseason performance and regular season performance. I personally hate preseason. My contention is that the only things that can happen in preseason that have any bearing on the regular season are preseason injuries. I realize the need for preseason when it comes to individual evaluations, by the coaching staff, in determining a team's final 53 man roster. I understand the need to get into game shape and start experiencing the hitting that is going to begin in the regular season. But to put scores on scrimmages between two teams in preseason is ludicrous. The whole notion of first string against first string, first string against second string, etc, etc to get a measure on how a team would fare against that team in regular season is idiotic.

For those of us who live outside of Michigan and receive most of our information concerning the Lions through the internet, Tom was our primary source for that information. We learned the Lions through his writing and reporting. To me he was a great source for information. I enjoyed his writing and when I got live streaming of WDFN I enjoyed listening to him, also his weekly updates at MLIVE. com. To say this is a shock is an understatement. It goes without saying, although it has been said many times, "Killer" you will and are missed. RIP and Thank You.

Are there any details of the CBA, yet? I read your explanation of the Rookie salaries. That should speed up the signing process, no hold outs, right? What constitutes an UFA and a RFA? Are the Lions in jeopardy of losing anyone to free agency? If you've addressed all of this in previous reports I apologize, but I don't know the details.
I love fantasy football, but I try to join leagues that don't have many Lions fans, because I usually pick a lot of Lions. I'm afraid that in a league of nothing but Lions fans it would be difficult to draft the Lions I want. On top of that I feel I would be going against the Lions each week.

I love Detroit. Is there anyone from Detroit who knew of the "Driftwood Lounge"? I forget which Mile Road it was on, but it was something like 8 or 9 Mile Road and Grand River Ave. One thing though, it is difficult to get my expections, of the Lions, up too much. I am optomistic, but I've been optimistic many times before. I've heard Kitna guarantee great years. I've heard Roy Williams guarantee great years, and I've heard others with over optimistic predictions. And of course they all turned into "fools gold". So I will approach this season as I have most seasons, with guarded optimism. I will say this however, always, in the past, Lions fans were optimistic about the Offense. I have always believed that to be a great football team, you had to have a great Defense. And this year unlike any other year I am excited about the Defense. Do they still have gaps? We all know they do, but with the right "Free Agency" aquisitions at Cornerback and Linebacker it could be the best Defense the Lions have had since the early '60s.
