Somewhere in the midst of all of this there has been this feeling that Nash is the one who will get the hat trick. Hockey is definitely a game of surprises too. I'm still believing that's going to take place. I will go as far as to declare it.

OK. logic says {if A then B} and {if B then C},we conclude {if A then C} or

A->B , B->C that means A->C. So if the Rangers can beat the Bruins, and the Bruins can beat the Penguins, then the Rangers can beat the Penguins. Fear says the Rangers can't beat the Penguins. I know sports has plenty of these but it never makes sense, logically.

so Bylsma can't win with the Pens' roster but will do so with ours?

you wonder if goaltending is a factor, because you can argue that Bylsma doesn't have good goaltending while Quick, who's probably better than Vokoun and the flower, is losing games in the west also. it's could be the defense, right? Lundquist is the best, arguably, and his team underperformed in the playoffs, Torts' fault? only if he lost the room and they sat back, which is what it looks like when you notice how they played against Boston in game 4 - And Won! - It's not always the coach as much as the whole team, coaching staff included; this chemistry thing is speaking volumes regarding players and their coaches.

Have you guys looked at the list of Stanley Cup winners and their runners up? It looks like they trade coaches around like they're hockey cards. Teams winning in consecutive years with different coaches; teams losing consecutive years with the same coach ( that coach goes on to win in later years). Look at Keenan, three times to the dance and no crown, no cup, how would a rangers blog look like in summer of '93? would you say "why Keenan, he can't win"? So why say "why Vigneault"? maybe he learned how to navigate this thing and learned how to win, whatever the case, he can get to the dance, doesn't mean he'll never win it.

with that prognosis we are not reaching the finals, ugly goals? there's so much to consider. bad officiating, for one, causes wins and losses, so called puck luck causes wins and losses. how many posts and near misses this series? they continue to plug away, right?, and they will break through. right now the Rangers look worse than the caps. when they play their game, they're just as dangerous. the goals will come.

th epower play sucks because they try too hard. it's had good moments so it's not incapable, there's too much pressure. like i said, don't think just play.

1 year, 5 months ago on Torts: Rangers Power Play Was Paralyzed

guys come in here, and have great games, then they adapt to the system and suck balls. so how about the coaching staff just tell them to do two things, have fun out there, and be competitive, forget about pressure, (three right?). simple stuff. take the puck to the net, don't allow them to do it. be creative. stop thinking and react naturally.

You figure this first half was a combination of new player adjustment and training camp, that includes injury replacements. For whatever reason, they all started out like zombies for the most part but it sure looks like they're coming around and defifinitely making the playoffs, even if it does take a week or two to see them come out of zombie state one by one

 @Betweentheworlds  @slapshot13j hockey for dummies: can anyone explain this, a season high 6 game point streak, and then it says ten? {Rick Nash recorded two assists, including one on the power play, to extend his point streak to a Rangers’ season-high, six games (six goals, five assists during the streak). He has now tallied a point in each of his last 10 games (seven goals, nine assists over the span).}
