@WetShoes @Presidentjlh Indeed. Maximum allowed goals in a game = 3. That's not bad at all.
Many goals against also came in games where the result was all but decided in the Pens' favor too. I know we like to say, "100% every shift," but let's be honest, we're talking about human beings, not machines, here. They realize the situation, and when you're up 4, 5 goals, you're gonna take the pedal off a little bit.
Also, Vokoun's been much better than "mediocre". He's had some fantastic games, and while I wouldn't say he's putting on a Conn-Smythe like performance, he's been exactly what the Penguins needed.
For all our talk about trying to get Iggy, Morrow, and Murray a Cup, we forgot about Vokoun.
For all the criticism of the Penguins' defense, they really didn't have that bad of a series.
Bobrovsky is the only goalie I feel that could truly stymie the Pens' offense this year.
Quick, Howard, and Rask?
Rask is capable of plenty of breakdowns.
Howard is playing beyond his normal capabilities, he will regress.
