Welp, Greg. Go ahead and delete the dumb thing I just foolishly/poorly wrote, it is for the best. Instead, post this twice. :((

I was right on line w/ Luck, TY, and the ball on that 2nd TD pass & I swear to God I thought it was a 20-yard overthrow when it left his hands. Then TY hit some sort of hellbent nitro gear & BLEW past Browner -- who was already mid-sprint, mind you -- and caught up with the ball and it was the prettiest sports play I've ever seen in person, the end, that is not hyperbole.
(Kick-ass article too, Kyle. That goes without saying.)

I'm not very smart at football-y stuff, but holy hell this seems SPOT ON to me. Well done here.

@coltsfan56 It is the exact opposite of a "great memory," and if I could trade it in for the multiple 2A Titles we likely would've won, I would absolutely not. I find that telling, I guess, and also the obvious point of the article, but maybe it's neither. I don't know.
I played in -- and lost -- a State Championship game 4 years before that, a REAL State Championship game, in the Hoosier Dome, in front of 40,000 people. The mere CHANCE to do that again outweighed all else, and if it never came to pass, so be it. The charm outweighed the curse. By a lot. It still does.
(And this FOREVER concludes my thoughts on the matter. I've turned into a pathetic Uncle Rico, stuck in past high school games that nobody else really cares about, and that makes my brain cry. "I could shoot this basketball over them mountains!" Ugh. Never more. LET'S GO COLTS!)
