@HJB91 You're not getting it dude. No one denies Hank is the best player on the team, is better than Talbot and has been extremely consistent over the past 8 years. The position the "trade Hank" group is taking is that this team has so many holes it would not be wise to use up $8MM of cap space on one position and that we could use Hank as an asset to get multiple pieces back in return. We're thinking long term. We already know what will happen if we have Hank in net and a bunch of third liners skating around him. It's time to see what would happen if we had a lesser goalie in net but more depth throughout the lineup. In the end we could be Fed, but what do we have to lose? The team can't possibly improve with $8MM committed to the King over the next 6-8 years.

This is good. We can use Hank to give Talbot the necessary amount of rest for a long playoff run...oh, wait.... :-0

@gravey94 I completely agree with you that a mid season trade is not going to happen, I think the argument is if it should happen. What are you willing to pay Hank in terms of dollars and years? Remember, if we wait until the end of the season there's basically two options 1) resign Hank to a long term, big money deal, or 2) Hank walks and we get nothing. Right now there is a third options available, 3) trade Hank for assets. Option 3 goes away at the end of the season.

@KreiderisTheChosenOne The question is pretty simple to me, what is more valuable to the Rangers, Hank at $8MM per for 6 seasons or Talbot + 2 other assets at $8MM per. I'm assuming the money we save on Hank would pay for Talbot, a first line forward and another depth player.

@Medvjed004 @Chris M Anomaly. They would kill the Wings in a series.

Saddest part of the game for me, when Chara and Boyle squared up the announcers said "this isn't fair for Boyle." It was almost as if Zucc was going up against Chara.
@Medvjed004 I'm not sure it's because they weren't skating hard. The Bruins just beat them down physically. The roll 4 tough lines out there, have Chara on D and beat other teams into submission.
They lose to these guys by 1 goal every time.
@Say my Name @Chris M You know where I stand.
@Say my Name The funny thing is the past service does not include a cup. I understand why the Yankees and Giants have held on to some of their vets. Those guys have won battles. These Rangers players haven't won shit.
@Say my Name Yep...
@iwantgaborik Is that the type of player we need? It won't happen, but we need a guy like Wayne Simmonds.
Too big, too tough. We could never win a series against these guys.
Not Hank's fault they're giving up odd man rushes, but he just not robbing guys anymore.

I don't want to pile on Hank, but if this kid keeps winning this is going to get interesting.
Just got home, Rangers fucking up or Hank getting out played...again?
@AnnoyingJoe @Say my Name he won....and right after the game the Rangers flipped Hank for Weber.

move back ahead of a red hot Philly team.
@Say my Name with his mind
Zucc always makes smart passes
