To add, I don't think it's his place to argue about gun control, especially when he are a semi-public figure. Remember Tim, you are the face....err, voice of a popular radio station. What you say reflects as a whole for the station. You're a morning show host, stick to morning show stuff like homeless people running naked through a bank or an old lady in Fayettenam who claims to have seen aliens (cue Giorgio Tsoukalos "aliens.jpg" pic). I'm not a gun owner. I will probably never be a gun owner. But as a morning show host, I don't give two shits about your views on gun control. Of course, me caring about his views would also require me listening to his show on a regular basis.
I was one of the few listening this morning. Was actually a rare morning that I got to listen to anything, let alone the X. The entire discussion was awkward, but you could hear him almost choking up.
Personally, I don't care whether he stays or goes. He was a bit of a shitheel to his audience for the last 6-7 years, especially over the last year or two. Can't put my finger on this, but I have this feeling there is more to this than we know of. I think the whole falling on the sword because of personal beliefs is how he's publicly going out, but I don't think it's the real reason.

Tangradi looked terrible last night. There was a shift last night where he spent half of his shift on his ass along the boards and another part of the same shift just coasting behind the net. It came off looking very lazy and unmotivated, especially since this shift was only 10 minutes into the game. I'm not saying he has to hit everything that moves (although that it would be a welcome change from his current style), but if you're 6' 4, 230, you should be able to take contact from those players that weigh considerably less than you. The sooner the Tangradi Experiment ends, the better.
I don't have the energy to complain about Tangradi any longer. I'd be better off screaming at a wall.
These are the same people who thought it was funny to create a cardboard dick for the purpose of placing it in another guy's mouth? So who's the gay person again (changing the wording on the F bomb. If there was indeed a funeral and it was his "girlfriend", why not send something to show his respect like flowers? If she had passed away, why wouldn't he ask to read her obituary to see how she was remembered by her family?

@VintMacCabe you heard the slang n bomb (lol, not putting myself in that position by typing it)? So he DID say something. If that's how your crew sits around the bar, the locker room, whatever, and talk, that's fine. But Stephen A is a "respected journalist" (notice the quotes) on a national network. Simply put, that's not exactly a place where you drop the n word - whether it be ending in -er or in -A. I'm not saying he has to be proper and speak like a Harvard professor, but using that word and thinking he wouldn't catch any slack over it....twice?In his words: "Are you crazy?!? ________ please"
