Hello Shonali!

I'm about to check out all of the ownderful links you provided here!

Many who give blogging advice have noted that guest blogging and social networking are crucial to a blog’s success. It wasn't always that way. Contrary to that advice, I believe a blog can still stand on its own. If the articles are interesting and thought-provoking enough, the blog will attract individuals who are already HUGE in the social media scene. They'll spread the word well! And no need for guest blogging!

I'd like to invite you and your readers to visit my blog and take a little blogging quiz, offer your 2 centsworth...

I've been experimenting with a kitchen window garden of herbs - very pleased with the results, and all my cooking has benefitted! I understand many of these herbs also have medicinal values, so I guess I'm ahead of the game!

Hey Justin! I added FB comments to my blogspot blog - it is an enhancement in that it does not replace built-in blogger comments, and users don't have try to guess the capcha 117 times and then give up trying to leave a comment.

Once before I added a second commenting system, Haloscan, which I ALMOST went to exclusively: I am so glad I didn't because they were taken over by another company who then turned it into a "Pay" system - What, ME pay? No way, Jose! I hand-copied some of the "important' comments on posts into blogspot comments, and I learned a valuable lesson about depending on 3rd parties for anything.

Having written that, the only thing I don't like about FB comments is I don't get any kind of notification - so if you leave a FB comment or ask me a question on a post from, say, August - chances are I won't knowo it's there.

Bottom line: FB comments HAS INDEED increased traffic for me as well as providing a spam-free avenue of interaction.

Someone just told me that if you remove your popover that appears when you get a new visitor (if you still have it in place) - the warning may vanish - I just tried to update my blog and I still get the screen while inside blogger trying to hit the "new post" button - it is obviously a weird flaw or bug taht something suddenly awakened... keep me posted, justin!

Hey Justin - it would be relly helpful if YOU and other bloggers included TRANSCRIPTS for videos. I'll bet you get a TON of bounces from people who have either exceeded bandwidth or don't have the capability to watch the video from, say, a certain brand or carrier's smartphone.

They arrive here thinking they'll get solid info only to get a video they can't watch (and did you know, some videos display a "blocked in your country" message - I've had that happen to me trying to watch video on a blog from Montreal, just a few hundred miles North of where I am!)

The Kindle? I want it for myself! What would I do with it? I'd use it like crazy! I'm mad about books and electronically-deliverable text of all kinds! The case and screen protector will come in mighty handy because I'll be carrying the KF around with me 24/7! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

I might add that if possible, try to use ORIGINAL photos and drawings! And DON'T use an image-server - make sure your blogging platform supports images so that you don't have to worry about "this image exceeds bandwidth wit too many views. Go pro and get unlimited" --- that means SPEND MONEY using our service. There is NO NEED to do that! In 10 years of blogging, I never spent a penny on hosting or image hosting!

Great post! Now for some GREAT news!!!! UNTIL NOW GOOGLE’S SOCIAL NETWORKING PROJECT HAS BEEN IN A LIMITED FIELD TRIAL, BUT AS OF TODAY, ANYONE CAN JOIN.

VIC GUNDOTRA, SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT OF SOCIAL FOR GOOGLE:::

“Online sharing is broken today. We basically treat everyone like your “friend.” And in that bucket is your neighbor, the person you met at a conference two years ago, your family and even your boss. Google + brings real world sharing to the web so you can share certain things with only the right people.”
