One of my favorite Zucc moments is when he got in George Parros face last year against the Panthers. I'm sure you've all seen the picture. He'll stand up to John Scott the same way! But in all seriousness, Cally can deal with Ott. As far as John Scott, let's just hope he doesn't get much ice time and doesn't feel like fighting!

I don't know on what line, or with what center, but I like Nash on a line with Hags. Opposing players have to respect Nash which opens up extra space for Hags to use his speed. Saw that a few times last year.

Curtis Glencross is my guy. I don't know how willing Calgary is to move him though and at what cost.

@MikeBlue @mmaselNYR I'm all for finding another Prust. I wish we still had the old Prust. But I'd still rather have Prospal over Pyatt. Maybe you say Prospal is "useless" and found "in a bag of garbage" but he still had more points that all but FOUR Rangers last year. He's not as useless as some of the guys currently on our roster.

Why not sign him? Wouldn't be giving up anything to get him except cap space. If he can represent an improvement over even one player (I'm looking at you, Pyatt) isn't it worth it? He wouldn't be some sort of savior to the team (obviously lol) but he can probably still produce more than what Pyatt is doing right now. Last season the Arnott experiment didn't go through, and the Hamrlik experiment failed. Maybe it's time for one of our old guy experiments to work.

I think it was you who said this Kevin, and I don't know if you were joking or not when you said it, but if Lundqvist really wants 8 or even 7 years, I'd be cool with signing Jonas Hiller. I love Hank so much but I wouldn't go past 6 years. Price wouldn't be an issue for me, just longevity. (But I'm also not paying the bills haha)

@NYRFan_RF1 I get that his point total wasn't that great but he played really well I think. He's a 3rd line, maybe occasional 2nd line guy and playing a puck possession system will benefit him more so than DZ I think. He's better on the PP than DZ is too. Plus, I get that 1 goal and 6 assists in the playoffs isin't a great number by any means, but it was 2nd best on the team lol...

and trade Pyatt. His only good season was when he played on the Sedin line and he obviously wont have those type of linemates playing in NY. He's on the 3rd line at best.

The way Zucc played after coming back last season I think he proved he belongs. Del Zotto on the other hand didn't prove anything last year. I'd rather keep a guy who came in and played well in Zucc than someone who the only phrase we use for him is "potential" in Del Zotto. Zucc played like someone with something to prove and I think he proved it. Besides, the moment Zucc got in the face of George Parros I knew I wanted him back!

Odd as it may sound, blog posts I read on Canucks Army said that both Torts and Gillis agreed Torts would have to tone it down with the media (How long that could last is the kicker). But what I found most interesting, also from Canucks Army, was that the Sedins were actually pushing for Torts to be their coach. Strange. It should be entertaining at the least. (I, however, agree with the many people who said it looks like Bobby Valentine going to the Red Sox)

I just hope they hire someone before if/when Bylsma gets fired. I do not like Bylsma at all and would rather him not even be considered. He doesn't seem to know how to make ANY adjustments during a playoff series and he still think Fleury is a franchise goalie (LOL).  His idea of an adjustment is shuffling around who plays om his 4th line. That's about it. I like Vigneault since it seems like Tipett won't be available. Also kind of like Boucher. If nobody scoops Boucher up, and it doesn't seem like there is much interest in him at the moment, I would love to have him on as an assistant. Very good PP in Tampa. Even though Vigneault is good with the PP too, ours can use as much help as possible.

@KevinDeLury @ThrSage I thought he called him Kevin Nash. Like the wrestler lol. Took me a minute to understand he was just saying your name, Kevin.

I think Marc likes playing in NY, likes his teammates, and likes his fans in NY. Maybe I'm in the minority in thinking this, but if the Rangers are willing to offer him what he believes he's worth, I like his chances of staying. With that being said, I'm also more concerned with the here and now than I am concerned about what will happen in two years. A LOT can happen in two years.

Considering they're still using Bickel at forward, I would love to see Zuccarello back.

I'd go with Nash. Lundqvist and Callahan are massively important, but I have full confidence in Mart Biron when he gets a start. Callahan does so much for the team as well, but he can't take control on offense the way Nash can.

Obviously we want Staal in there, but i couldn't agree more about Stralman. He's really been playing well pretty much all year.

@LMSWillis Yandle would be great too. He also has a friendlier contract than Campbell. I kinda think Florida would be more willing to make the trade though at a better price. They don't really have any hope this year it seems like, and Phoenix does.

Well if Girardi and McD or even MDZ are gonna be out a while mabye give Florida a call about Brian Campbell. Even if them three aint hurt he would help. Plus he could QB the powerplay. Probably won't happen due to his contract though. Just some wishful thinking.
