Bad bounces, fluke goals, bad luck - at the end of the day though this team lacks one important thing - HEART!! How do you come back home and show nothing, except maybe in the first 10 minutes of the game??

@BobDunne @kingmessier I changed it up a bit for 2014 :)

The Garden was electric tonight! One more hill to climb!!
I'll be the first to admit that I had lost faith after game 4 of the Penguins series, but this TEAM, and now we can honestly use that phrase, is more amazing to watch as these playoffs move on. I love to see the leadership that's developed in the locker room and it looks like the guys are having fun and playing for each other. Sather, I've called for your head a million times, but you're definitely an evil genius. Thanks boys for providing us with classic Rangers hockey!

"We didn't play tonight" - yeah Brad, the team hasn't "played" since Game 1. Every post game it's the same bunch of excuses and bullshit answers. Now they'll start blaming the fans for their poor play. Just goes to show that there is ZERO leadership and accountability in that locker room. Even though I'm not saying I want Torts back, or that he was the greatest coach, at least he showed some passion too. It just seems like AV doesn't give a shit. Hey, if your coach is not setting an example, what can you expect from the players.

@ATCRyan @Josh-CK True -- I saw some guy eating $50 sushi yesterday at the game
@Mike Burns1 The only thing is that Sather didn't have anything to do with the 1994 Championship -- the GM then was Neil Smith and he was a genius at putting together a Cup contender for one year, because he bargained away all our future prospects for that 1994 Championship -- but that's a million more than what Sather has given us
@ATCRyan The last time Sather put together a Cup winning team, the Berlin Wall was still up and the Soviet Union was still around
@Rangers35 You should spend your money elsewhere - if you think the fans were the biggest disappointment, than maybe you should buy season tickets to the Liberty or something. I was at the game and when the Rangers showed any type of emotion or willingness to play, the fans were 100% behind them. It's not about if you win or lose, but how you play the game and the Rangers last night not only deserved the boos, but Nash should personally send a check to everyone at the Garden with a refund. Maybe it's because Rangers fans know what good hockey should look like and are not blinded by free t-shirts and towels.
@Bleed_the_freak You forgot 214 pound Sasquatch on ice.
Kevin - great write up!!! You nailed what all "true" Rangers fans who watched this game must be thinking - anyone who doesn't agree with what you wrote must have been watching a different game or reruns of the 1994 playoffs
@SmellyKisio @kingmessier So who's your pick for "captain" on this goofball squad?
@SmellyKisio @kingmessier I followed fine, there was no need to talk contract on the Rangers end until the end of the post-season, that would have given him an even a greater incentive to play hard (if you think he was all about the money). If you lose him after the post-season, so be it, but now we have MSL, who has zero points in 6 games, doesn't throw his body around, and I doubt has the "ear" of the guys in the locker-room. Yeah, great move from the management's end.
@rangermom @kingmessier Sorry to say, but so are most of the players on the Rangers current lineup
@Josh-CK @rangermom I heard that Nash, during the second period intermission, was scheduling his tee time in Ontario for Sunday morning.
@Bleed_the_freak @kingmessier You just made my point - "he would throw his body around" which equals some sort of passion - which none of the jokers on the current roster can say they have any of
@rangermom @Say my Name I was there too, and honestly can you say that the "team", and I use that term very loosely, gave us much to cheer about. I remember that the crowd did show their appreciation after a great effort during the first period and then the Rangers take a stupid penalty that totally kills their momentum. And Nash, don't get me started, no effort, nothing - he not only deserves to get booed, he deserves to be benched the next game. Think of what we gave up to get our "savior" scorer and look at the facts of what he has produced and you'll think of it in a different way. I'll leave you with this, If you took a crap on your bosses desk at work, would they still pay you or fire you?
What do you expect from an organization that trades away their captain before the playoffs - the players know that the management doesn't give a shit about if they play with passion, but how many jerseys their "name" will sell. It's a trickle down effect and no one gives a shit. We have to wait until Sather goes away and/or Dolan goes into bankruptcy and is forced to sell the team before we can even thing about a championship. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
@Bleed_the_freak Line up Nash, MSL, Stepan, and Richards in front of the firing squad.
@stRangers fan Cocaine is a hell of a drug!!!
I wish Hank just went into the locker room and slashed Nash across the knees
Richards - "we deserve better" - yeah and the fans deserve better than to watch a team with no passion
Nash must be benched next game!
I've never heard an arena more quiet than this... WTF!!!
@stRangers fan And you're still living in 1994
@stRangers fan Scary, but maybe true
Why is Nash not benched?!?!
@stRangers fan KInd of like at MSG
@stRangers fan If that happens, I'll buy everyone on this board a beer at the Flying Puck
@stRangers fan No goals in 5 periods
@Say my Name @JG44 Is Sean Avery still on "Dancing with the Stars"?
@DPSnotty @stRangers fan @Say my Name Unfortunately, you have more belief in the team than they do in themselves
@leftwingbarbara @Chris M @kingmessier That's two more goals than our dynamic duo of Nash and MSL
@Chris M @kingmessier Oh wait, yeah, Nash is better
Can we get Gaborik back???
@TomDundie @kingmessier TomDundie - well if you could honestly say to yourself that they played with heart and a 'don't-say-die' attitude then it must be great to live in your world. I've cheered for the Rangers my entire life and it's a slap in the face to the fan base to play with no passion, especially in the playoffs. This team has no leaders, no one that can step up and say - "What the f**k!! We're getting embarrassed out there, let's f**king do something about it!!"

Why would Dubinsky or any other former Ranger want to come back to this heartless and wimpy group of sissies. Oh, unless it's for a paycheck that they wouldn't get anywhere else, and wouldn't be held accountable if they didn't earn their money.
@AnnoyingJoe You put more effort into that post, than the Rangers did into tonight's game - kudos
@Josh-CK And Mason kicks him with his skate, but that's ok
@leftwingbarbara Because that wasn't specified in their contracts
Maybe Talbot can score a hat trick
@Josh-CK @Gorangers0525 Happy B-Day Girardi - now take off your skirt
"Nash drives to the net.... and loses control" - how often have we heard that this series??
@AnnoyingJoe No - he's a five time all-star - yes he is.
Can Dolan do something that gets him banned for life from the NHL - please!!!
@JustinRP37 @kingmessier And that's why John Davidson is running Columbus and we have that moron Sather
@ObviouslyTwoPointsAreGreat The Sharks are light years ahead of us
We Rangers fans aren't the worst - it just f**kin' sucks when you realize your team has ZERO heart!!!
