@DmJapan Thanks for your comment! From what I've read of your work, you're not too bad a writer at all. ;)

I found your post interesting for two reasons. First, it is spot on! :)
Second, I had no idea single women in the "west" have to deal with the same sh*t we have to deal with in the "east".

There are so many beautiful scenes. It's a pity the Social Club thing doesn't even sign in. The ifruit app also has issues.

You're right, I want the post-feminist world too. It gets tiring to go on battling at different fronts all because of the gender I was born with. It's unfair. For men, their gender is a privilege they didn't even have to work for.
The innate bias towards women thing is what needs to be dealt with. I tend to think more towards how we can make things better for coming generations. Every parent needs to take that responsibility by making sure we do not embed this bias into our children. It's tough with all the stuff around us that goes against us, but if even one boy-child grows up respectful, understanding and unbiased about women, I'd die in peace. :)

Great points and I love the whole GWAR idea.

Michele, you've nailed it. I appreciate and support your "compassionate view on sharing".
The compassion and kindness of others has become so rare that when I actually am shown some, I'm usually shocked out of my boots (or shoes, or whatever). It's hardly a wonder that the world is so full of impatience and hate.

@LoriCain Thank you so much Lori. :)
@SMSJOE Aah Joe, you do your work really well. ;)
@@MySocialPro You said it, sir. Keep writing and use spell check. ;)
@prosperitygal The conundrum arises when one kind of writing pays better than the other kind of writing, Incidentally, the "other kind of writing" being what I enjoy more than the well paying one. :p Thanks for stopping by Michele!

It reminds of the feeling that I usually have that someone is watching me, all the time. :) Catering to the 3rd from a personal account can get rather overwhelming for someone using a personal account, makes them more guarded, more artificial and contrived. Especially for people who are not really as nice as they appear on SM (Just my opinion) However, in the context of a business/brand, the 3rd is a vital and often overlooked factor that can make or mar a name.

@ToyotaEquipment So you're saying that all social media conversations should be "because" of the company you represent and not the person you are?

Since I started following #8 my life has become way easier. I don't feel like I'm running between hundreds of things that I HAVE to do. (reading every link shared, commenting on everything, resharing etc). I usually do it all after I'm done with "real work" and seriously, you're right, it's still there and the world is still spinning and didn't end because I wasn't there. :D

You're right. It really is a conundrum. but online relationships are very much like IRL because no matter how well we know someone, sometimes we just don't know enough.

You're right Margie. The history that used to be transferred from parent to child, the special family anecdotes, funny stories etc it's all very important in our lives.
You didn't get a chance to spend time with grandparents, but others who could, never really bothered.
In the "old days" families used to sit together for every meal, share stories, talk to grand parents, find out stuff. that's how I grew up. My grandfather was in WW2 too and we heard stories about what he did from my grandmother. But today's generation is no longer interested in all that. Perhaps because they have "better" use for their time, more things to do, more work to survive in a competitive world. But that's another discussion for another time. :)

@qstreet You're right Sam. It is already quite difficult for most of us to see things from the perspective of other's and empathize. perhaps empathy is what we really need instead of all the sympathy. My thinking gears have started running again. :)

@Rai_Azlan It sure is tough. They want all the answers. And they ask the most surprising questions. You can't fool them way we used to be fooled. ;)
@Rai_Azlan The silence of the victims, more importantly. And their families and the fear of what society will say. The same society that harbors and nurtures these sort of people. Hypocrisy.
