@mcafee_truth Please go abort yourself.
First I'm hearing about this...
I also picked up a Kindle Fire for my kid specifically due to Amazon's "FreeTime" app, which allows me to set EXACTLY which apps/videos/books/etc. my kid can access, as well as how LONG they can do any one particular thing. It's something Apple is sorely lacking.
Maybe you should change your name to SarahLacy.
The problem with Turf is that it's built on top of Foursquare... which is great for now, but remember all those apps that used to be built on top of Twitter? Then remember when Twitter changed the rules? Yeah... that day is coming with Foursquare, so I wouldn't get too attached.
Good. Let's get that trash off of Facebook and get back to debating politics.
You sure that kid pictured on the left isn't a girl?
Wow. Thanks Erin! I just signed up and I'm listening to the Skrillex SXM mix! Woo!
If you're interesting in a more detailed look about Lodsys, there was an excellent report on This American Life a couple months ago regarding this company and patent trolling in general: http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/441/when-patents-attack
@trevoragilbert I use Find Friends to know when my Friends are getting close (if we're meeting somewhere). I use Cards to send out Birthday and Holiday Cards. I'm learning how to program in C# with iTunes U. I don't really use Trailers or Airport, but I did use the Apple Store app to pre-order my iPad 2. I love Remote because I don't have to get out of bed in the morning if I want to play some music to wake me up. iDisk had some MP3 files on it I was sharing with a friend the other day, and I suppose I could get rid of Find iPhone because really what's the point to find your missing iPhone with an actual app, right?!
I have 2 folders full of stock Apple apps... it's kind of rediculous: iTunes, Photos, Calendar, Clock, Video, YouTube, Weather, Notes, iBooks, Find iPhone, Game Center, Voice Memos in one folder called Apple I.
And in Apple II I have: Reminders, Cards, Find Friends ,Pages, iTunes U, Trailers, AirPort Utility, Apple Store, Remove, iPhoto, and iDisk.
Then outside of the folders I have Contacts, Maps, App Store, Camera, Settings, Messages, Mail, Phone, Safari, and Music.
I've purchased a few items from Roozt and have been very pleased with the entire process. I picked up some Fold and Play Recycled Speakers which are actually pretty cool sitting on top of my desktop as well as some Runa Energy, which I probably could have picked up at Whole Foods, but I like how Roozt helps support all the different Brands including some Charities. I'm a fan.
But is it retroactive?
Apple is probably paying a hefty sum to use the services, right?
That's... awesome.
jfm429 Yeah, except that "Step 2. Open Facebook’s info.plist in Xcode." requires a 4 GB download.
It works like a charm!
MS507 It's easy to include "all of that" from the beginning with you're copying from an OS which had been out for a few years.
