The fact is, no matter what kind of evaluation/feedback system used, the focus should be on straight-shooting and where to improve and grow or even when to go. Thank you for the comments, guys!
Right on, Pam. These are critical points for any generation -- especially Generation Now as I happily espouse. But, multitasking is a myth, at least as it relates to actually being more focused and productive. ;)
Right on, Ted. Thank you for your comment. It's refreshing to hear this because I believe it's dangerous to hire because of a label on a bucket (which sadly we already do).
Thanks for sharing all this data, Elizabeth. Sad but true that hiring decisions are initially only skin deep...
And I double down on that dare. I think. ;) danielnewmanUV
Right on, Meghan. These are spot on and creative to boot. Or booty, depending on which video you're watching. I'll keep it positive and be Flavor Rave, the one who raves about everyone else.
Thank you, Susan! The creative writer in me always likes to make up words. ;) Thank you for participating in #TChat when you can. I do hope you'll be able to make our new day and time -- Wednesdays at 7 pm ET. SusanMazza
Sam, these examples are fantastic. I just ran a couple of webinars (I know, online) that focused on the fact that marketing is so much more than the social channel, and that the social channel is fantastic for content marketing, sharing, learning and networking. We've got a fun viral campaign coming that's in stealth still, and that relates to social, but will be delivered live and in person like many of your examples above. Marketing in the HR B2B space tends to be more conservative, but there are creative moments. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Peggy. We so appreciate your participation as well! PegFitzpatrick MeghanMBiro
Thank you, Meghan. That's why we launched #TChat! MeghanMBiro
Thank you again, Dan. It's great to be a part of such an open and diverse group of business folk. Love it. danielnewmanUV
Absolutely, if it's in a public forum, we should welcome everyone into the collaborama-ding-dong-scoobie (I'm just going to keep making up words). pbehnia
In our own backyards, in fact. I lease space in a co-working facility in downtown Santa Cruz and it's been a great way to network with other local entrepreneurs and business people face to face. danielnewmanUV
Completely concur there. Good folk to be collaboramering with. MeghanMBiro
Right on, Chris. I've discovered that I've profited from these words over the years. Really. ;)
While I'm all about this hearsy, the tyranny of business past, present and future will make buckets of cash at the expense of many of your points.
Thankfully, I've been working in, with and around folks who skip along the lonely path as you do.
Amen.
Thank you for your comments! I've always been a big believer in being human online and keeping it real. Makes for much better conversations as well as potential friendships, partnerships and business.
But I am beautiful and a good listener. ;)
Seriously, this is an important list for all to take note of and to thank the mentors and trusted advisors in your life.
Yes, I really dig the FB - Twitter mashup and down and all around.
