Hi @KateNolanand congrats on the #FF from @ginidietrich. I love your blog and what a great name. I would say you definitely need to get back to blogging, but I would then catch some grief for my blog (yes, I know Gini....cough, cough).

@annelizhannanI love Cape Cod. And, you've got a fascinating background. The Healthcare industry is fascinating with all of the tremendous changes going on.

@ginidietrich@debdobson62Yep, I did see your friend Virginia wanted to be the Bears QB. Frankly that might be an improvement lol.

Grrrr, I am working too much. I missed this on FB. What a great post. By the way, I wanted to be a USC Trojan quarterback, then of course, pro. Mom told me I was too short. She didn't want me to think it was because I was a girl.
This is an excellent outline of LinkedIn Showcase pages. Thanks for taking the time to create a great reference.

@Soulati | Hybrid PR @debdobson62 @ginidietrich @ClayMorgan I completely agree a blog is a great platform to differentiate, teach and develop their thought leadership. What I find is if they are doing it just because others are than they won't be committed over the long haul.

@ginidietrich @ClayMorgan When one of my attorneys comes to me and says they want to start a blog, my first question is why. For many, they say others have a blog. Not a compelling reason. Not every attorney nor every business needs to have a blog.
@jasonkonopinski Kitten is good, though definitely has "only child" syndrome meaning I am meant to play and feed her constantly. It is all about her. How are you doing?

@jasonkonopinski I didn't know about Statigram. Thanks for sharing.
@AlinaKelly @debdobson62 I so love meeting another person who LOVES tennis. How very cool you get to see high quality action in person and with a dear friend!

Hi Alina. Nice to meet you. I saw you had a tennis photo on your twitter of Rogers Cup. I'm a huge tennis fan as Gini can attest to. Sorry to hear you've had some broken bones. Congrats on Gini's #FollowFriday. I'm going to follow you on your platforms and if you ever make it to Atlanta, let me know. I love food and good wine.
Ahhh dear Gini, how timely you are. I was just starting to write up a summary for my boss on some of the latest changes and here you wrote it for me. Thank you!!

Okay, the lip synch is epic. I know, one of the most overused words in the English language....but truly, epic!!!!

Nancy, this is an excellent article and so on target. I love the comment (even if not 100% exactly remembered) from your former Managing Partner at Baker & Daniels, now Faegre Baker Daniels, Brian Burke "I want for our firm to be called to the table when potential clients need the services we offer." Being strategic about content marketing and social networking is key to being at least thought of when a potential client is thinking about who to call to the table (love that phrase). One of my partners recently shared with me that he got a serious inquiry from twitter because of the content he shares (and not just the content he or the firm is creating, but others content).
And, thank you for sharing the link to the webinar. I too love Adrian Lurrsen and JD Supra, so plan to listen when I get some time this week.

Hmmm, remember when Obama was in his swimming trunks? Just saying.
You struck it out of the park Gini. Great post.

Well done @ginidietrich . The web has made many lazy and while keeping up-to-speed on Google Panda/Penguin and other updates can make one's head hurt at times, I think it is good that Google is penalizing the lazy route and hopefully rewarding (at least to some extent) good quality content.
I love that you mention building relationships first, then pitching the story. Building relationships takes time and it is hard to convince people in today's busy world (and who prefer immediacy) that it will yield long term gains.
I, like @bobledrew, will be sending this post around today. Note, I already have.

Great post @ginidietrich and I'll apply these valuable tips to those who present in Webinars. I can't tell you how many webinars I've attended (and only briefly as I left them quickly) that have turned out to be sales demos. Let me just say, borrowing a quote from a movie we all likely have seen, if you don't have me at hello or shortly after, you've wasted my time and those who have chosen to give the speaker an hour of their life. Yeah, I can be a bit hard on public speakers.
As usual, well done Gini.
