This is an excellent post and completely agree with Danny that you've been knocking it out of the park lately.  Having it all does mean different things to different people.  I don't have children, at least the human kind.  I consider Little Due my furry child as she depends on me to take care of her.  Women, and a few men, have asked in a way to infer I would regret the choice I made in life.  Anneliz put it well.  I hope when I pass that I am satisfied with my life journey and have no regrets.

Well done Gini!

She was a solid candidate and a really good person. She did not run in 98. I actually had a convertible and became the parade driver. Almost lost her off the back a couple of times lol.

Hi @KateNolanand congrats on the #FF from @ginidietrich.  I love your blog and what a great name.  I would say you definitely need to get back to blogging, but I would then catch some grief for my blog (yes, I know Gini....cough, cough).

@Soulati | Hybrid PR @debdobson62 @ginidietrich @ClayMorgan I completely agree a blog is a great platform to differentiate, teach and develop their thought leadership.  What I find is if they are doing it just because others are than they won't be committed over the long haul.

@ginidietrich @ClayMorgan When one of my attorneys comes to me and says they want to start a blog, my first question is why.  For many, they say others have a blog.  Not a compelling reason.  Not every attorney nor every business needs to have a blog.

Nancy, this is an excellent article and so on target.  I love the comment (even if not 100% exactly remembered) from your former Managing Partner at Baker & Daniels, now Faegre Baker Daniels, Brian Burke "I want for our firm to be called to the table when potential clients need the services we offer."  Being strategic about content marketing and social networking is key to being at least thought of when a potential client is thinking about who to call to the table (love that phrase).  One of my partners recently shared with me that he got a serious inquiry from twitter because of the content he shares (and not just the content he or the firm is creating, but others content).

And, thank you for sharing the link to the webinar.  I too love Adrian Lurrsen and JD Supra, so plan to listen when I get some time this week.

Great post @ginidietrich and I'll apply these valuable tips to those who present in Webinars.  I can't tell you how many webinars I've attended (and only briefly as I left them quickly) that have turned out to be sales demos.  Let me just say, borrowing a quote from a movie we all likely have seen, if you don't have me at hello or shortly after, you've wasted my time and those who have chosen to give the speaker an hour of their life.  Yeah, I can be a bit hard on public speakers.

As usual, well done Gini.

@ginidietrich  @RichardGlynn I agree with you.  There does not need to be a process.  But having said that, I think we as marketing and/or PR professionals owe it to our clients to understand search engine analytics.  I also think we owe it to clients to not simply copy content and post.  Good post Gini as usual and keep sharing tips/experiences.

Columbus airport is sooooo easy.  KC airport a pain.  Once you go through security you're basically screwed.  St Louis is always delayed if there are clouds in the sky and a sprinkle.  But, if you have to fly there or through, take Southwest as gate attendants are friendlier.  My St Louis best friends (years of being stuck with delays or cancelled flights) were the skycab guys and the bartender.  Both took good care of me.

You nailed this for anyone who has the "pleasure" of traveling a lot.  What would drive me nuts is to have to pay for wifi for that 1 hour you had in between flights.
