Implying that the race results might have been different because of brake choice (second paragraph) if only the conditions had been different is really poor journalism.

Disc brakes, disc brakes, disc brakes, disc brakes, disc brakes and more disc brakes. Did I miss anything? After all the non-stop stories about disc brakes I was shocked, I tell you shocked, to see how few disc brakes there were at Louisville this past weekend.

1:14 in you can almost see where Nys trashes Klaas's rear wheel. Guess Nys didn't care for getting checked on the hill a little before that ... lesson learned.

Okay that was the best interview of a bike racer I've ever seen. Nice by Bart - and Colt.

I usually never have anything nice to say about anyone but hats off to Stu Thorne for continuing to develop all this great young talent through the Cannondale/Cyclocross World team. It's one future champ after another. Is there anyone who has done as much for U.S. Cyclocross as this guy?

The funny thing is that everything said in this "fake story"  about not using discs is actually true. So it's an ironic April Fools joke, isn't it? The bike industry will hate you. I think you're spot on.

War horse! Look at the nicks in this bike, it has seen some battles. Pretty cool, really.

It's lighter, but it's heavier. It has disc brakes.

Just took the training bike to the car wash and powerwashed the sh*t out of it after a muddy gravel road ride. That's good, right?

So did you have to have a beard to race in the men's categories?

How much lower is the bottom bracket that the old design? Good idea on their part - those bikes were tall. Is the lower-head tube larger, matching more modern bike designs? Can't quite tell in the photos. Good idea to keep the canti-version.

I see in your bumper to this review that you imply there are issues with durability with all Crankbrother pedals - issues that I have never experienced as a long time user of egg beaters and candies. In fact with the sheer number of these I see being used, I would expect to see a higher number of failures. If you have numbers on failures, I'd like to see them - otherwise explain to me why CXM is alway giving Crankbrothers a poor review?
