@JoeyKocur Brad Richards is a 3rd line center getting paid 1st line center money for the next 6 years. He must go!

@mando24179 I agree about Hags but, right now, I'd go with your first 2 lines and then a 3rd line of Hags DMoore Fast and same 4th line you have. Personally ... I'd rather bench Richards instead of Hags.

@EugenePlaksienko @TruBluEsp I don't know what your point is. You said Hrivik has better hands and was asking how you come to that conclusion being that Fast has scored 7 more goals than Hrivik in 20 less games.
@mando24179 I don't doubt it after they way he benched Miller for the whole 3rd period, banished him to Hartford and called him out in public.
@mando24179 I agree but size doesn't always mean toughness. Case in point is Boyle and Girardi. I like what you said in another thread to bench Richards for Fast b/c I'm sick of watching Richards do nothing over and over and over. This team needs toughness and outside of Haley, I just don't see anything in Hartford that could be plugged into the top 9 that would provide toughness.
@EugenePlaksienko Why do you think he has better hands? Fast has 7 more goals on the season in 20 less games.
I recall Torts, when speaking about Miller last year, stating something to the effect that Miller had some attitude issues the Rangers organization addressed with him. Sounds like this could be a recurring theme now under AV.

I'm all for having a so-called policeman/deterrent but for guys like Burrows, I honestly don't think it would matter. I think we can all agree the Bruins have more than one deterrent on their team (Thornton, Chara, Lucic) and that didn't stop Burrows from biting Bergeron's finger or going after Tim Thomas in the Stanley Cup Finals. Sadly, and this my soley my opinion, the deterrence should be "you go after our best players, we'll go after yours" Kind of like in baseball. In the AL, you drill our best hitter, we'll drill yours. That's why I say the Rangers need a policeman/deterrent. Not to go after Burrows but to go after Sedin or Kesler. It could get the other team to say "cut the shit b/c you're getting our best players hurt bc you're a douche". Just my opinion.

Two players that I believe are free agents after this season that I don't classify as goons and are both skilled enough to contribute on a 4th are Shawn Thornton and Tanner Glass. On D, I wouldn't mind the Rangers signing Mark Fraser as their 6th/7th dman. These 3 can help both physically, toughness and are not bad players from a skill perspective.
@Josh-CK I didn't hear this. Where did you see this reported?

@EugenePlaksienko @TruBluEsp I prefer Haley just from a physicality standpoint. We all know Richards is not coming out of the lineup so Miller for Kreids is the solution in the long-term. But for tonight, I'd dress Dorsett, Carcillo and Haley. Sit Miller and Boyle/Moore.

@EugenePlaksienko Kristo is not NHL ready. Lindberg and Fast are ahead of him.
My prediction for tonight ... Boyle gets his ass handed to him by Simmonds. Dorsett gets his ass handed to him by Rinaldo. Klein tools Hartnell. Zucc gets the Flyers off their game and Rangers win!
Need more incentive to dress both Carcillo and Dorsett for tonight's game? Here is a quote from Simmonds:"If we play them in the playoffs," Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds told reporters, "they're going to definitely know what the Philadelphia Flyers are bringing to the table."

Enough with the Kristo talk, If you have watched him play, which I have, he has no idea what he's doing defensively. If he was ready, the Rangers would have called him by now. Miller is NHL ready. On par with Kreider readiness at the beginning of this year. If they choose to put Miller in the lineup, it falls on AV to put the kid in a position to contribute and succeed which means not on the 4th line. Hell ... For the flyers game, I'd call up Haley, move MSL on the line with Step and Nash, put Brassard, Pouliot and Zucc back together, move Dorsett onto the third line with Richards and Hags and let Moore center Carcillo and Haley.
Dolan and Sather ... aka Dumb and Dumber

@cb1 If this team played out West, they'd be in the bottom 3rd of team.

@iwantgaborik Dubi and Anisimov can laugh at Sather from afar and JD can also
@GiveGartneraCup Sather will never get fired b/c we have an owner who doesn't care about winning the Stanley Cup. If he did, Sather would have been fired a long time ago.
This team is not hard to watch ... This team is BORING to watch. Hey Glen, you stupid, blind, uselsss piece shit dinosaur ... Get the hell out of NY. Go smoke your cigars and fantasize that it's a certain part of Dolan's anatomy. You have done nothing and I repeat NOTHING in your tenure as GM. Wait ...I need to save some of my vitriol for that spoiled troll of an owner who only cares about fattening his pockets. Only the very worst owner in all of sports would allow a GM to go this long without producing anything. One year of making the ECF. All other years ... either not making the playoffs or just squeaking in. Pathetic! Sad! Clueless! I no longer blame these players. The players our dinosaur of a GM has assembled are playing their style. Sorry .. but can't expect this soft as charmin lineup to all of a sudden play physical playoff hockey. If anyone thinks they can, please sell me what you're smoking. I pray to the my lord above that I am wrong and can eat my words but my eyes do not deceive me the way Dino-Sather's eyes and hockey "smarts" fail him. Sorry everyone but needed to get that out of my system.
@NYR44 Neither ... He's too busy counting the dollars he's stealing from that idiot Dolan to be bothered.
