Kevin,

When you review a theme company, you don't fool around! I really appreciate the thorough job you did, and of course, it was nice that the company itself, CSSIgniter has so many good points to talk about. Thanks for showing the nice big screens of the designs, too. I'm impressed, both with the review and the theme company. Great stuff.

My biggest annoyance about web hosting is that I have to stop to think about it when it should be invisible. This obviously occurs when something is not working. Dependability is #1 with me.

Hi Margie,

Long time, no talk. (You gave me tips when I started Twitter many months ago.)

I have pointed out the deficiencies in using a visual medium for service businesses, but I hadn't thought about spammy links. I've just always checked them before I repin. Always. Of course, that makes the fun a little less fun, but I like to go to the source to see if there is more of what I liked. Am I crazy? or abnormal that I do that? I'm not quite ready to throw in the towel because it continues to lighten my life of a Friday or Saturday afternoon, so I keep coming back. Your comments about the value of your time remind me exactly why I don't go there on a Monday morning, or any morning.

Thanks for your insights! Always insightful.

Seth,

I truly hope you can do this because I've envisioned something similar, but I know my skills only include a small portion of this pie. I have never dreamed this big, but I am sure there is a market for this. From my own confused clients who want me to show, not just tell, to the questions I see all around the web, there is a demand. Your idea takes the whole complicated journey and puts it all together. Please, please. please go for it with your own incredible style.

Seth,

I'm enjoying your writing, your site, and this post specifically. I try to improve websites, too, and have been very shy about using "real" website as examples. Did you need to ask permission or inform these site what you were doing? Your insights were on the money, too. Thanks for your input and your amazing writing style that keep us all happy to continue reading.

Thanks for the small hit upside the head, Craig. I pride myself on this philosophy, and I've had people tell me I'm succeeding in comments and chats. But the little things still slip through - call backs, emails, etc. I doubt there are many who could say they can't do better. Not me.

Hi Pam,

I'm sure we all fall into that trap of just check in on our social accounts and hours later realizing we didn't get done what we had planned for that time. I am so glad that even when you were aware of the trap, you fell into it too. It's so addictive!

So I am doubly thankful for the list of ideas to make our social time count. Great post. Thanks so much.

It almost seems wasteful of your valuable time to do this, but the idea of it made me laugh. Then, I thought a little harder, and it made so much sense that I plan to do it - or at least think it out, every single day. Thank you Craig, for another great tip!

Justin,

You took my story, right down to the end. My thoughts exactly. And, I'm at the same place. What to do, what to advise. I'm going to watch to see what others have to say.

Thanks for posing the question.

Hi Stan!

I like your terminology for this - Expert Product. We all have a challenge of producing that nurturing CTA product. It's sooo helpful to get the play-by-play. Thanks!

Stan,

It's really nice to find someone who learns as he goes along, the same way I do. This blog told the story of what you're currently doing and how you learned something new doing it. And, you're using that new knowledge to help us, your readers!

Thank you for your insights and tips about what makes a good blog. I'm going to work harder on talking and helping my first time visitor. I've seen this done, but didn't know how important it was.

Thanks again for a truly great post.

Craig: You hit this one on the head! I wonder how many of us feel this way this day? (And, this post sure beats reading the predictions for 2012!) I tried getting my ducks in a row - at least in my head - before I sat down to the computer, but now I have your tips, and I'm hoping for more. Thanks bunches! --Sally

Stan,

Thanks for all the great tips. I'm of fan of How-to's, and this one is a winner. I've been trying to get to doing an editorial calendar for months, but something always comes up that I think is more important. I get the posts written, using topics that just "come up." I like your method better! Thanks so much! --- Sally

Hi Stanford,

It's sooo time that this point was made. Bravo! We can work all day at engagement, but not accomplish a darn thing until we match the media to our market. I've "talked" to many "friends" on FaceBook about the weather, the town's activities, the holiday plans, but none really did the job until I understood that my market was not using social media. That was what I was trying to teach them, so, duh, they weren't there yet. Thank you for the nudge into reality. And you do it so well. Keep it up, please!

Stan: I've been wrestling with this whole pop-up idea and say that you were using Pippity. I looked it over and was impressed. As to the pop-up idea, if you are convinced it works, I'm going to take your word for it and give it a whirl. Thanks for taking the time to compare these two. What a time saver that was! -Sally

Hey Stan,

This one hits all my incompetency buttons. We all try for all of these, but results may vary. You did a great job of explaining them and the examples just made them come through clear as a bell. Now if I could just master a few! Thanks for the list. I'm putting it up on my wall for 2012 To Do's. --Sally

I generally don't like to use quotes. It seems lazy to me, like YOU couldn't come up with anything good to say. But Dr. Seuss, now that's another story. You get the great meaning and a rhyme, too. Outstanding! Thanks for digging these up Tracy. Three thumbs up!

Hi Stan,

I've been considering just his idea, not only for writing and getting better, but practicing answers to questions my potential clients ask. I know I need to practice it to make it right every time. I don't think that's muscle memory. What should we call it?

Hi Stan,

You inspire me to look at every blog I've written to check this out. I'm always thinking I could have done better with my titles (changing those is bad for established links), but now I know where I can make changes that will make up for just an "OK" title. Thanks bunches!

Tommy,

I've read a number of intros to FaceBook's new features, but this one actually kept me reading - and understanding! Thank you soooo much for putting it in a way I can get my head around. It seemed all personal stuff before - yes, about people, but not business. (So, you say people run businesses, huh? Wow, why didn't I think of that?) Absolutely great stuff!
