I was disappointed by most of the commercials. I liked the last Doritos one, where the little girl is riding the big dog like a horse ... it was cute. I think my favorite was the Radio Shack "the 80's want their store back" one from early in the game. The Pepsi lead-in to the halftime show was awesome, especially "tuning" the bridge. I liked the 5 seconds or so of the Ellen one where she had Black Sabbath on, and the 2-second reaction shot of the "agents" in the restaurant as Morpheus drove by in the Kia ... but just those bits. I liked the VW "wings" thing pretty well too, but it seemed to be lacking some punch (which should have been where that rainbow thing was at the end). The Bud commercial was cute, but was operating on too many levels (the he/she dynamic was almost a distraction from the main arc) ... but loved the part where the 3 horses stop the car.
Oh, and I also commented that it was nice that at least ONE Bear made the game ... in the form of the one tearing apart that store in an otherwise incomprehensible yogurt spot.

Wow ... that last one is mind-boggling ... a trip to the dollar store could have filled a drawer with "disposable" pens ... as you note, it screams "NOT LUXURY!!!" if they're going to those lengths to avoid losing a 10¢ ballpoint!

Randy ... great post, shared it through all the buttons.
But, I wanted to bring up one thing ... the link to “Accept Your Abundance” doesn't end up anywhere with a free download. I hate to be "nickle and diming" the $7, but you're recommending that for folks "facing financial challenges", and I've not had a regular paycheck in FIVE YEARS and am in a position where $7 represents three bus fares to networking events, etc. and does not go our of my pocket lightly.
Is there a link to a page where that d/l is free, or a "coupon code" (I see that's an option on the order page) for it?

Awesome post, Randy ... I shared it everywhere!
The world would be so much better if we were able to get over religion ... so many people believing so many idiotic things out there.

I just don't "get" Pinterest ... it isn't a model that corresponds to anything in my reality AT ALL ... and all the "how to use it" articles and videos eventually end up focusing on "cute shoes", which is not even remotely an interest for me. This is just the "big kid" version of my 11-year-old daughter putting print-outs of pics of Johnny Depp up on her walls ... I can't even think of anything that I'd want to stick on a "board"!

I'm always amazed when I hear folks saying “My customer isn’t a 20 year old so they’re not ..." - my late Mother was in her 80's and spending 4-6 hours on line a day the better part of a decade ago. My guess is that the people with those attitudes are afraid of technology and dismissive of it (and its penetration through all demographics) so as not to have to interface with it.

Is this the specified "below" where we RSVP?
If so, I'd love to attend ... especially as I am one of "those seeking a job in the PR industry"!

If I'm going out the front door, I usually exit with a "thanks" or a "have a good one" ... as you note, it "costs" very little, yet has the chance of significantly improving the driver's day.
