I noticed when I stayed at the Algonquin in NYC that on the door of each room was a quote from some member of the famous Algonquin Round Table (mostly Dorothy Parker in the area of rooms I was near.) That's pretty literary connected

 @thawking  @MarcDavidson So noted. I prefer classical myself, but sometimes it's nice to switch back and forth. Here's another suggestion that's a little more contemporary. Find old recordings of the Golden Gate Quartet - That's some serious Gospel!

I don't know if you considered Handel's Messiah, all of the masses and other religious works of Bach, Mozart, Haydn and the other baroque, classical and romantic era composers - But that's all Christian music that very much doesn't suck!
