@speedhunters_dino Thanks for this nice coverage Dino. Let me ask you a question. Since there is so much competition between the tuners, how can Nismo be still in the game? We all know that Nismo parts are really high priced for the Skyline scene. Does it make sense for Nismo to continue as seller of aftermarket parts or should they limit their self as a constructor of complete cars ( Nismo GT-R, Nismo Z's, etc) Thanks.

Thank you very much for this beautiful post! The GT-One is the most beautiful Le Mans Racer produced in the world, ever! It's so sad Toyota isn't in Formula 1 any more...

Everything else is a waste of time! Saluti, Gianluca

@JDM_Luca  so you mean like there are cars that are predestinated to tune/modify and some not?

This is a good question... It takes actually some time to get a good answer. There is a said that tells "the highest level in originality can be obtained by not modifing the car at all"..But there are a lot of tuners that still modify Ferrari's...  I have big respect for the engineers that made these cars, so I would tend to leave them as they are. I'm sorry to say this but in the end it's all a question of money and flavours..  From my expierience, where a lot of money is, often logical thinking and technical limits do not really work together hand in hand.. Some modify super cars to go with time, because not every Supercar is = Supercar... This means some improve the brake system or update the suspension. On the other hand they just want to have a Unique car, their own way and style...

to make it short, if I had a Ferrari ( i hope so one day......F40 in my dreams...... ) the only mod would be TUBI STYLE :) the rest leave it like it is! AMEN!

I always wanted to have a closer look at that car! Somehow it's a bit of a shock opening the hood and there's no Ferrari engine in it, but hell the complete set up makes me just drool... :D Thanks Taryn and Pedey!

I think the Evo's like a modern day Kaido racer! :) The exterior design is not my case, but from the pictures the quality of work seems to be very well done!

Wow... This is unbelievable! It is such an art to build a well designed race car! @MadMike Whiddett  What intake design will you use for the 26B Engine? Will it be the telescopical pipe desing like in the 787B Le Mans Racer? When you add more Rotors (besides more power that you get) does the caracteristic of the power curve change or is it just like always, but more powerful? Thx

Fantastic pictures! But let me ask you something. In your time as speedhunters i'm pretty sure you heard a lot of cool and fast cars, but what was your impression of hearing a fully race ready Lancia Delta S4? I've heard them once and it was special to hear that supercharger sound in front and the dump turbo sound at the back :)

I studied car design and construction at the school of franco sbarro. As the cars were concept cars,  the parts are not designed to be reliable and enough resistent to endure high class competition. How difficult is it to build a Race Car from Zero and what are the tests that the car with its material has to endure, to can guarantee you to be competitive? Because obviously we compete in races, to win! Isn't it?

Being a car guy, and NOT having all that budget to build a high performance VQ35HR or RB26DETT or SR20, or etc. with forged and reinforced internals and everything around it i absolutley understand the swaps! It's cool and it seems to be a new trend. But in my opinion it depends on which role the car has to play. Give me a Drift car and i privilege a lot of V8 engines over the 13B or SR or 2JZ engines.. Let's face it ( and please dear V8 guys don't get pissed when i say that ) these god ol american V8's are build relatively robust and in some way primitive. Again, i want to precise, as i worked many years as a BMW mechanic i would not put in a BMW V8, i'd still prefer the US V8 motor because of its very good reliability.

Now give me a street car that you maybe track once a year, so in this case I'd swap it just for fun to have some nice sound, power and the Wow effect.

Now give me a track focused sports car, then I'd say no. IMO power is not everything, the car should be balanced and have a good wheight distribution. Best example change a very light 13b for a LS3. I don't know if a FC or FD would still have that famous agility that a RX-7 is famous for. That's my opinion, please correct me or give me advices if i'm wrong or you expierienced other situations.

@otar @KiwiMotoring  We live in Switzerland so we have limited possibilites of tuning a car because of the law. Almost everything is prohibited. He did a fantastic job in customizing that car. If someone doesent like the wheels you should see the car at raceism event with the Messer wheels equipped...  That's just his style, low and slow. You don't need big brakes and a M3 engine to go fast? Everyone knows that on stanced cars big engines and brake systems are only decoration. These cars are meant just for show.. that's it in my opionion. Check the link for the Messer wheels!
