Nike has already done collaborations with Marvel. They've done Marvel inspired colorways. And a couple years back Marvel and ESPN collaborated to do a comic book cover with Kobe, Bron, and KD. A lot of people know what the Marvel logo looks like. It had to of been done intentionally because Marvel is easily the most iconic and identifiable comic book brand.

All of those guys you named are guards except for KD. You're only helping to prove his point. Usually big men don't wear low cut sneakers. It could be an accident waiting to happen. If KG, Tim Duncan, Dwight Howard, Roy Hibbert, Al Horford, and Tyson Chandler all wore low tops, you might have a point.

The KD III's and IV's were pretty low though. So lows aren't new to KD.
