Seems like a moot point, really. As someone who watches the draft every year, if someone tweets out the pick a minute before it happens, it's not like I'm gonna change the channel and watch something else. I'm not going to suddenly lose all interest in the draft and seek out Golden Girls reruns. People who watch the Draft will watch the draft regardless if a pick gets tipped.

I don't know if we can give Danica all the credit here. A lot of the new viewership probably came from casual observers who wanted to see if a repeat of Kyle Larsen's Nationwide Series accident would occur. A lot of my non-NASCAR friends tuned in for that very reason.
