Only logical names for the Divisions are Dengus, Paynuss, Fibbus, and Chonus.
@trxFOXHOLE @mwn3d A banner every year counting down the remaining years on OV's contract?
Man, that look on Shero's face....man has EVERYTHING (except Orpik) under control.
HOLY SHIT that's Matt Hendricks on the far right. Like looking back at a draft photo from 2003 and you realize the Pens drafted Bissonette and Carcillo along with Fleury and Moulson.
PaulMart has that subtle "Nailed it" face, too, probably because he's hearing "Sharp Dressed Man" in his head after picking out that ensemble.
The short guy next to him looks like he just stepped out of a 1982 discotheque with that tie. Guy on the far left has got that Scarface open jacket kinda thing going on, in fact, the index should get a +10 for managing to look dignified in such horribly tailored clothing.
I love the hesitation on Sutter's second goal, getting the D to go down to break up a pass to Sid, slowing the play until he has everyone pulled where he wants em. Reminiscent of how Mario used to slow the play and delay with the puck until he knew he would bury it.
Seven is better than six!
Pens shouldn't bother drawing any penalties against the Broons, with a penalty kill well north of 90% they're best served to keep tapping Marchand on the rump until his head explodes and lands on Pierre McGuire. Too bad Billy G ain't around to tie the game with .4 on the clock. To think Jay McKee opened the game up with a backhand behind Thomas, Eaton scored, Dupes won it in OT when Thomas had an absent seizure...that was a good team.

@BillyBoy123 Yeah, but it's gonna be better when the Craps manage to knock them out of the 8th seed on the last day of the season and they blame all their woes on Crosby anyway.
@HYJYNX @DustinDusters @j-nine Not the same kind of whacking Giroux has to do when he gets home over his own tears to stave off that feeling of inadequacy he gets whenever Sid is playing.

I say trade for Ian White's 2009 'stache.
I think Vitale is a pretty cool guy. He ragdolls players and doesn't afraid of anything.
It makes me very happy to see BB get rewarded for his excellent coaching again. When you have a team that isn't a locker room train wreck and management that holds its players accountable for their actions it's amazing how well a team will do under a superb coach. As much as I want to see the Pens in the cup, it'd be worth Anaheim playing the Craps and sweeping them in 4 at DC just so BB can teabag Leonsis on TV. Selanne aging backwards doesn't hurt, either.
How far into his first game will people start bashing him since he hasn't produced 15 points next to Malkin and Neal?
@oldcrapple TK is a known quantity in that he has proven he can competently play on the third line, Tangradi was a waste of talent who never passed, turned the puck over and generally trashed his linemates' +/- numbers. Boychuk is still a relative unknown who is playing pretty damn well just not finishing things, and I think Bylsma hopes to confuse players with the 71/17 thing on the ice while Neal scores another impressive goal.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fEGs8O_iBSg/UQDQWgLd-pI/AAAAAAACDUk/TnaAlFKOKLs/s1024/BBVobkJCcAA97IV.jpeg Geno looked so thrilled to have him on his line.
Wow. Clearly Shero is clearing room for somebody otherwise we all know he would pick up a first rounder for this asshat somehow, because he is Ray Shero. Honestly though, 45 games over 4 seasons, and 5 points? Deryk Engelland has done more than that. MAF has more points in that span of time. When Sid and Geno were gone, and every other stretch of time he played on the first or second (or third or fourth) line he never showed any inclination to perform.
Don't care how well he does anywhere else, sorry to break it to TK that he is the whipping boy again. Shero is probably either working a trade or going to bring someone like Bennett up finally. Go Pens.
@malkincookies Apparently Ted Leonsis used to molest small kids in Chinatown or something, and he owns the rights to everything.
Funny how well Anaheim is doing this season. Let's see...they're 7-1-1. Caps are 2-8-1. Caps went a combined 201-88-40 during my tenure behind the DC bench. Ducks went 27-23-8 after I took over last season to coach a team that couldn't string together two consecutive wins. My team is currently 3rd place overall in the league.
Who the F*ck am I?@akus @j-nine Far too late for that, they should've torn that off his chest two years ago and given it to Laich or Knuble before they idiotically let him go. Throwing high checks on role players won't accomplish that either if you don't have an impact in the locker room. Leonsis' "Ten Point Plan" is in shambles. Idiot.
Caps are a house of cards, built plenty nice on paper, came out flying tonight and the whole thing balanced pretty well, but the second the tables were jostled the whole thing came crashing down. Feel sorry for their netminders....two young guys in way over their heads with zero support from their team to boost their confidence. McPhee's bad moves over the last 4 years are showing now.
Six is better than five. Go Pens.
