Here's a good example Say.........
Everyone knows I like Capuano as a coach. But Coach Cap, against the Sharks, made a mistake, and one of his players paid the price.
Capuano had the chance to insert Eric Boulton into the line-up, but he chose not to. Had Boulton been in the line-up, Capuano could have put him on the ice whenever Scott was out there....to neutralize his physical presence. If Boulton would have been on the ice when Scott was out there, Scott would have had his focus on Boulton...and most likely they both would have dropped the gloves. Boulton and Scott would have been in the box and that hit on Grabovski never occurs.
Not only are players like Boulton enforcers...they are deterrents and neutralizers.

To be honest, I can care less about Corsi. And the fact that people are trying to apply this stat to Glass....is just plain silly.

Yo...what up Say?
I'm almost rooting for AV to take out Glass. I know the end result of that move. People here may eventually get what they want, but maybe it will take a player like Kreider getting hurt....or maybe Nash getting his brains scrambled again......and having them miss significant time...to show people here why you keep an element of toughness in your line-up.

What's the problem? Take Glass out of the line-up....and let Kreider fend for himself....he's a big boy....he can handle it. Sure there may be a target on Kreider's back, but hey, Glass's Corsi's stats stink.....so let Kreider answer the bell if he gets challenged, or let him deal with the possible cheap shot when it comes. If Kreider gets hurt because of it.....oh well.
Who do we play after that? The Wild right? Keep Glass out of that one for sure. And if Kreider throws a big hit in the 1st period of that game. and the Wild are looking for payback for the next two periods, let Kreider deal with it.
Better yet, keep Glass out of the line-up from here on out. All Kreider has to do is play careful, no big hits whatsoever, that way he doesn't anger or upset the opponent. As long as Kreider plays like that, we will never have a need for Glass to ever be in the line-up again.

According to Corsi.....
Tanner Glass is to blame for the Ebola outbreak in the U.S.A.........

When you have a lack of toughness, skilled players always suffer because of it
So much for a boring game eh?...lol

@omnishambles @Craptin McDonqvist
How can i help you omni?
@Gorangers0525 @McPhee37 @rangermom
He's not a liability. If he's a liability...why does he play on the pk?? No way AV would have him out there if he was
His biggest problem....puck handling.....but he wasnt brought here for his puck handling skills. He's a a good 4th line player.....that's his game.
@Gorangers0525 @Say my Name
Just not in the tub
And just to make sure....
Glass is a defensive liability....so AV plays him on the PK???
lol...you're a funny gal
You just don't like him cause he plays a tough game...by tough...i mean he fights. If you're gonna pick on his game....knock him for his puck handling skills....that i understand. But you're a 100% wrong....he's not liability when he's on the ice.
Great example....Torts giving Kreider a hard time. Now Kreider was a liability.......because he was constantly out of position...which lead to other players being out of position.....which was why he got sent down.
Glass can play....just accept him for what he is.
He's not a defensive liability.....cause if he was...no way on earth AV would play'em....pure and simple.

Not saying you....still irked by that Corsi thread on hitting.......pointing out Glass's big hit which unfortunately took out his own man....it happens.
You can't apply that freaking Corsi stat to a guy like Glass......you can't measure what a guy like Glass brings to the table
Malone should've been on the 4th line with Glass to start the season.....at least that was corrected
I don't know why some people have a problem with Glass.....sure...he's not an offensive juggernaut.....
But he's not a defensive liability......
He leads the team in hitting......
Drops the gloves when necessary.......
In other words.....he does his job.
Nice stick check Glass
@Say my Name
Folks...he'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress
Ugh....enough with that corsi crap ;)
great shift by the kid
I'd have to rewind.....see where Hank was in the crease...see the passes before the shot.....you could be right tho Worlds
I had a some three-fight games when i played........I usually ate my breakfast the morning after just like that dog.
It was a fortunate bounce off the boards......Devils lucky its just 1-1
He's a kid....give him a little time. Yeah, if Hayes played with some snarl.....tough, big centers...can't have enough of those brother.
LOL....you ain't kidding
Hayes will be fine....a few years...he'll grow into that wolfman jack voice he's got going on
Not so much unpleasant....a little...lackadaisical.
Man...Hayes looks like a young Bernie Nichols
Nice look down low.....
LOL......based on a true story. ;)
Lucky bounce of the boards.....
Let's go boys......
Ha..I'd trade JT for Willie Huber
Get out the Corsi spreadsheet. ;)
@betweentheworlds @McPhee37 @ObviouslyTwoPointsAreGreat
Not easy dropping the gloves when you got a history with concussions. That's all world tough. Can't take that away from him.

That Sam was a helluva charmer
Once we go up 2-0...Clowe will know what he has to do.....
There should be more fighting in hockey ;)
Nice low shot by McD
Freakin Tootoo......no doubt Freak....he's one of the dirty ones.
Put your head down when's he's on the ice....your begging for a concussion. Hell, Tootoo tries to concuss you when you have your head up.
Just waiting for the first late hit by Tootoo......guys good for about 2 or 3 of them a game.......
Who loves ya baby?
Did the board go all bougie since I've been gone? ;)
The Devils.....they have no chance now. Good job Joe. ;)
