@RichDD  @Edavis Nice!  If I had a dollar for every time I heard those words from Brandon Webb I would be a rich man.

Looks like the gig is up.  I do get teary eyed often and this is why I love being around all of you types.  Keeps me squared away!!

SOFREP MEMBERS:

My apologies for not being able to better exchange comments with you here.  Crazy few weeks with the loss of Chris and then that turd in LA hunting our local heros.

During the past week I've been reading a lot of comments people leave on OTHER (Not SOFREP) sites.  I've frankly been disgusted and ashamed of a lot of what people would post in response to articles about Chris or LAPD or anything for that matter.  It sadden me.

Today I had a chance to come back to SOFREP and catch up on the "goings on" and check in on the various comments and stuff.  I can't tell you how amazed I am of the class and character of SOFREP members.  What a contrast to the mindless, hateful, disrespectful masses out there.  Like Free speech is a right; but damn, it's not always a great idea.

So I just wanted to thank everyone here for restoring my faith in others and representing an elite group of patriots.

Knuckle-Bumps and much respect to Y'all

@BLACK ACTUAL  Oh man - I thought you were telling me to 8 Counts.  I was sure for a moment that one of my BUD/s instructors was after me!

No I wasn't able to attend as we had some serious drama going down here in Socal.  Thankfully it all ended in Big Bear.

@CK5150 Thanks CK - I pray that we all represented Chris and all other service members well today.  Watching the news today I fear that his story and life mission will get highjacked.

I hope that we can all keep our focus on Chris and his family and never forget.

@Tango9 I don't think I ever really knew what true "Selflessness" was until I had the good fortune to meet and worth with men such as these.

@DawnNichols Great post Dawn.  Yes please keep Kris's family in your prayers.  They are paying the greatest price of all and we can never forget their sacrifice.

@KineticFury Absolutely keep his family in our prayers.  What they must be going through right now has no explanation.

@Gunner777 I don't know if there is a specific fund in the works; but I believe that Brandon's charity "Red Circle Foundation" can better address how to help.

@hjw1dr Amen brother.  I had no idea what a true Texan was before I met the likes of Chris Kyle, and the Luttrell brothers.

You all are one of a kind!
