I didn't think the tanner glass signing could look worse, but here it is

This is an excellent signing that makes the Glass signing look that much more atrocious

@bk59 Well, when you consider that Tanner Glass is making more than Dany Heatley...

@ObviouslyWeHadAGoodRun Glass is 6'1, 210? Me too! Give me a jersey, I'll beat up Chris Neil.

@blueshirtscorner @tygalpin That was fun. I remember thinking, "Huh, maybe he'll be productive!"Then 10 games later remembering why we don't hope for things around here
My Pens fan roommate on Glass-- "He's tough, kinda slow. Never scores. Bottom 5 in league advanced stat-wise."I've seen enough of Glass from watching Pens games to know that he's right, so...lol
@Poops McDonqvist I tried to come up with something, but I just keep sitting in silence, revering the perfect name that is and was Poops McDonqvist
My Pens fan roommate is laughing at me right now, much in the same way I laughed at him when the Pens picked up Pyatt off waivers
Glass signing is bad, I don't care how you spin it. Not a very good player. Would rather have Dorsett, in all honesty.
lmfao forever @ super poop's 4m/5y contractglad you got paid, buddy, but have fun losing
I'm fine with Dorsett gone, but Boyle and possibly Moore being gone kinda sucks. The good news is, AV realizes the importance of a good 4th line, and should be able to make a push for what he needs, even if it isn't the one we had last year.

@Brukie_ The 07-08 and 08-09 Pittsburgh Penguins!
Truly, the end of an error

Here's to a great season from our team. I'd say I couldn't be prouder, but I think we all know what would have made us prouder. I feel the worst for Hank, really. But, on the bright side, how many of us thought 2011-12 was as far as we'd go in a long time? We have reason to believe we can finally do it.LGR

@omnishambles @tygalpin Same with the Penguins in 08 before winning it in 09!

@Josh-CK *room says at once* "Nah, you're right"
@omnishambles That's what I'm hoping for.
@Gorangers0525 *looks up to northwestern New York* I think I know a team
@Josh-CK Gonna have to take a rain-check on that celebratory meet-up drink, man. It'll happen, for sure.
I know our future is very unclear, but I feel like our team can only really get better. I mean, once Richards is bought out and Nash is traded, imagine the possibilities! IMAGINE. IMAGINE, DAMN YOUUUUUUUUU
@GetTheKingACup I don't know man, he made some pretty good saves. Some were EXTREMELY lucky (off the butt end of the stick? really? Ugh), but the man played well.
@Zelrio Hey man, he's kinda goofy and annoying, but that's a bit too far.
@JayStolow @tygalpin @Zelrio You mean second in 20 plus years? Sure, you're right, we will actually win a cup, someday. Islanders...eh. Not as much
@Zelrio WHAT A NERD LMAO
Yeah, seeing Hank on the floor (right before I shut the TV off, I don't need to see that shit) cut me deep. I hope this only strengthens his resolve to get to the top.
This hurts a lot less, since I was ready for it, but that was partially because I was prepared for the Rangers to pull off the impossible. We all know we got screwed by the refs, but it's small consolation in what-ifs. I still love this team, and it's given me a lot of hope for them in the future. We might be a win-now team, but things can still come together in the future when we least expect it, and this season proved it. I used to be resigned in our fate to severely underachieve, since that's all I ever knew, but now I know better. As for the blog meetup, we can save that for next years parade. LGR
@EquusBiz One of those Bridgestone hockey pucks, really...
@Poops McDonqvist @tygalpin @DP_Snotty we are, in fact, yoshi

anyone wants a pick-me-up, watch this http://gravedust.tumblr.com/post/85795638841/i-hope-people-have-seen-this-i-dont-even-know-itsdefinitely has me laughingat least
Their tears are filling up their glasses / No expression, no expression
Bright and early for the daily races / Going nowhere, going nowhere
All around me are familiar faces / Worn out places, worn out faces
Thanks for this post, Kevin. Definitely gives some great perspective. Also, that quote from Boyle pumps me up. I believe in these guys!
Still really mad about this, but our boys should use it as motivation to play even harder Monday. They've already proven they can outplay the Kings, they just gotta turn it on and keep it there.
@thatguyisme yeah IDK if that's real or not but noooot cool
@Josh-CK I definitely agree that the Rangers have been the better team, but moral victories don't soften this one at all :( But, that's why they have to come out angry and motivated Monday. They have to.
I think there's a lot of positives here, though. We scored 4. Hank only gives up 2 or more, typically, on really BS nights. The BS can't HONESTLY continue, can it?
