There's a LOT of education that needs to happen, and quickly, both in nullification/supremacy clause issues, and how SCOTUS has usurped power that does NOT belong to it.
I link to tenthamendmentcenter.com on other blogs whenever I get the chance. You guys, just keep pushing the good info and education - written in plain accessible language - out there ;-)
My state, Alabama, just gave Holder another kick in the pants. Woo hoo!!!
I just find the subservient compliance of the Boston residents to their police state mind-boggling. And their subsequent overweening pride at their cowering compliance, even framing it as defiance ("This is our f*cking city!" Really???)
This is the kind of mindless embrace of total authority which the northeastern states would foist off on the rest of the country. Nanny Bloomberg, of course, was quick to jump on the wagon, intimating the constitution would have to be "reinterpreted" - in his own image, no doubt.
And yes, this should be a clarion call to other states, other municipalities, other citizens. Should terror rear its ugly head near you, will you be as eager as Boston to go gentle into that good night?

I fervently hope the feds decide to fight the states on this, I really do. It would be a huge turning point for the tenther movement.
I'm forward this to my state's legislators. Thanks!
Well, at least the Florida legislature fought back! :-)

I've ceased even talking about states' rights issues at the moment, because these governors' capitulations keep getting thrown back at me.
There is some hope in Florida and Ohio that the legislators won't allow their governor's decision to move forward. I'm hoping that the TenthAmendmentCenter will keep us updated on this.
It's times like these when I wonder if FedGov really has won; if the states really are nothing but vassals; and if our sovereignty is just a cherished illusion that FedGov allows us to hold onto.
My sister in Seattle was horrified at my pro-2nd-amendment, anti-Obamacare states-rights positions, until I reminded her that she had no such objections to Washington State's marijuana initiatives. She didn't have any answer for that.. ;-)
