@bigblue86 You are correct, sir!  (lame attempt at Johnny Carson/Ed McMahon humor)

@MyronJPoltroonian I have seen many of these quotes before... but this time, I am copying/pasting into a file I keep for the "debates" I often find myself in.  Very good.  Thanks.

@CarlStevenson Good one.  I knew of the facts as well about the hollow points purchased and the 7,000 AR15s.  But the number I heard about govts exterminating their own citizens came to 56 million.  I'll have to click on your link and see.  I have a list of the countries that add up to 56 million.

Don't increase taxes on law-abiding gun owners to fund the armed guards in schools!  Tax parents who have children in schools.  Seriously, I know I'll catch hell for that comment but c'mon, parents should be paying for the protection of their children, not ME, someone with no children.  When a dog park is designated in my community, I have to PAY money to take my dog there.  And I have to pay to license my dog every year.  Yet, parents often feel the expense of raising, educating their children should fall on all of society.  Sure, all of society (our taxes) should be used for schools but how 'bout making parents pay a little more than the rest of us?  Right now, parents get tax breaks when they have a litter of kids, thus effectively making the childless adults pick up a greater tab on the education of their children than they do.  (Admittedly, I could be talking about tax breaks on income tax and school budgets come from property taxes?  I don't know.  But my point is still valid.  No tax breaks for having a litter of kids!  And don't make gun owners pay for armed guards at school - either make everyone pay or make parents pay.

I don't ask for everyone to chip into my Caribbean vacations and sports cars, why do parents think it's okay for me to pay for their children's education and protection in schools?  They're your kids, if you can't afford them, you shouldn't have had them!  Birth control is cheap.

This guy is such a dufus, when I watch him, I think I'm watching an SNL sketch.  I mean, seriously, I can't believe he is VP.  I can't believe he had a career in politics.  What an idiot.

Although I don't "wish" it to happen in reality, I sort of think it would be ironic/good if the next massacre takes place with a maniac using a shotgun.  1) We can play these clips of Biden promoting using shotguns and 2) the liberals will then say shotguns should be banned.

Plus, I get sick of repeating myself on this but... when are these stupid politicians going to stop and think about what they define as "assault" weapon and how it has absolutely nothing to do with firepower or damage or caliber of ammo, speed or type of bullet, or how fast the trigger can be pulled?  Seriously, the definition of an assault weapon is based entire on cosmetic features that have NOTHING to do with performance!  A barrel shroud, a flash deflector, an adjustable stock, and a rifle with grip.  Those are features that are among those required in order to be considered an assault weapon.  Have one of those on a semi-auto (aka what 90% of all guns are), and you own an assault weapon and are a criminal, or you owe the govt $200.
