@Royce Young @TaoMaas Theres more to life than being really really good looking
@TaoMaas The point of Miami is Perkins is inneffective against them. However, they are vulnerable to a dominant center. Thus, use the aforementioned assets packaged with Perkins to acquire one. Or if a true center is not available, trade Perk for depth at any other position.
@Royce Young You mean in the post?
Perkins cannot shoot. He cannot pass. He cannot rebound. He cannot dribble. We have him for his defensive prowess and ability to match up against elite big men. He just proved that he cannot do that either. We are competing, almost solely against Miami for the foreseeable future. They do not have a true big and he is simply a liability against them.
Lamb and PJ3 played miniscule minutes this season where we won 60 games so giving up both and all our draft picks wouldn't hurt this team as long as Martin stays. I am not advocating giving up all but would be willing to if the right opportunity presented itself. In Presti we trust.
@Royce Young @Amnesty Perkins It is the exact same logic
@Royce Young @Ibaka's Jumpshot They won 60 games with Daniel Orton on the Roster. Do not commit a post hoc fallacy. Simply because he was on the team does not mean he was responsible for the wins.
@alvarex @Tomocrates reread point 1) 3 rhetorical questions, 3 excuses, and 1 'don't say Gortat'
Writing an article entitled 'Should the Thunder Amnesty Kendrick Perkins?' and then spending the duration defending the indefensible and explaining why they cannot amnesty him. Irresponsible. Give proper credence to all possibilities instead of simply explaining why they are wrong. I.e. the trade Perk scenario.
@senseandsenescence we could even give up Jackson here but a big market like Boston must have a point guard.
With Rondo going down how about this? Mayor to Boston. V. Carter to OKC. J. Sullinger & L. Barbosa to Dallas.
