Get a programmable thermostat. You can set it and forget about it. Everyone’s in a hurry these days that although we want to save, we just couldn’t find the time. At home, I really appreciate this gadget.
Recycling and reusing have always been a good idea in order for you to save money. Instead of throwing away your old stuff, find a way to reuse them. As much as possible, avoid moving to another place because they every time you do so, you throw away your old stuff. Some of these items are not even used and it’s just a waste to throw them away.
@MargaretJHodges That's right Margaret. You can save around 15% of your monthly electricity bills if you ceiling/stand fan instead of air conditioners. But you must remember to turn them off as well when you are not using them.

If you also understand each fee that is covered with the closing cost, you might see whether you are being overcharged or if you are being charged twice for it.

That is exactly the mistake and problem of a lot of people. They are too lazy to take the time to read the statements that we receive; even lazier when it comes to understanding what the statement really says. Then complain about why they are losing money (which is the situation most of the time).
