Me as well POC, if we can score 4.5 runs a game consistently, we can win over 100 games easily with that group.

I guess so, now that we won't sign Nolasco, there's definitely an opening.
I'll fill in the rest....because Ned like to roll the dice...
So...Why would we want Dan Haren? I assume everyone's read that report today.
For me, that's the gif of the year....

Ok, my bad. But my point was with Punto gone, Ned will be worried about Guerrero taking over, so he'll probably resign MEllis.

Ned tends to overreact, so he'll probably bring back Mark Ellis asap. Sort of like when he overreacted and signed J.D.Drew, but not quite.
Is there a proper way to slide headfirst, or just a proper way to slide?
I don't think the wholesome Dodgers with their reputation would sign Jhonny....
@Mike Petriello @moneynow27
Sure, but King Felix et al for Matt may be worth it.
Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted, but apparently the Mariners are interested in Matt Kemp.
The Mariners have expressed interest in Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, sources tell Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports (via Twitter). It was reported last week that the Dodgers are open to moving Kemp, Andre Ethier, and Carl Crawford this winter.
Kemp, 29, nearly won the National League MVP in 2011 and was selected to the All-Star team in 2012 but hit only .270/.328/.395 in 290 PA for the Dodgers in 2013. The outfielder still has plenty of trade value, but he is owed $128MM through the 2019 season and Los Angeles may have to foot some of the bill if they move him. Health has been an issue for Kemp in recent years - he played 106 games in 2012 and just 73 last season. Of course, the Dodgers can afford to move one of their outfielders thanks to last year's emergence of Yasiel Puig.
Pederson to CF? Who do the Mariners have of value for us.....The King himself????
I can't remember where I read this recently, but if Colletti signs Zito, I'm on suicide watch.

To all my Dodger and MSTI friends: In the interest of capital preservation and free advice, don't buy into the hype of the Twitter IPO. The pricing will be tomorrow night, and it begins trading on the NYSE Thursday. If the stock comes out at about $29, that would value Twitter at about $30B. Everything would have to go exactly right for Twitter to be valued at that price in a year, so you'd be buying the hype of an overvalued stock.
By the way, Twitter's user base is much stronger overseas than in the US. Free advice for anyone who cares.

There's always the concern that he could become ill during the season, although he's been very healthy. He's turning 86 this month, so there's always that risk. That said, he may be broadcasting Dodger games well into his 90's....It can happen.

So now the rumor is Harold Reynolds will join Joe Buck in the Fox World Series booth next year. Whomever invented the mute button is a genius.
It's really exciting to start the season with a new young position player with power.
I hope Alexander can hit half as well as Pedro did in the mid '80's.
Well, I'm back, because I just got an alert on my mobile phone that the Drew Butera review is up!
I hope everyone is well, and looking forward to the end of February, when pitchers and catchers report. The Dodgers are already picked to win it all in 2014, and we should have another exciting team.
I've been pre-occupied, getting ready for the Twitter IPO coming out this week (Thursday).
