Good point, although if his OBP really improves, Donny may want to rethink that situation.

I don't know if this has been addressed, but if Dee wins the 2B job, does anyone think Mattingly would lead him off, and bat Puig anywhere between 2-5? I can't see wasting his speed in the 8 hole.
I may be in the minority here, but I think League will be released and not make the opening day roster. But you still have Paco, Withrow, and maybe Rosin trying to make the crowded bullpen. If we rely on history, someone in the pen will be injured which may open a few doors.

On a totally unrelated note....(Does that break an unwritten rule, I can't remember, It's been awhile since I've been on the thread)......Has anyone seen the new movie "Non-Stop" yet? I have, great movie.....

Kershaw is Kershaw....not to worry....On the other hand, League continues to look awful.
It's early, but the new and improved Dee could win this job....and if he did, what are the chances hit bats leadoff, and they move Puig down into another slot?
Hey Daniel, thanks for the like.....Your blog is awesome....been really busy, but there's always time to read the great info....Thanks!

So.....I'm trying to get one of my NY clients to send my wife and I to Australia for some R&R, and yes, take in opening day......Getting tickets isn't the problem; the problem is the $4,500 round trip plus hotel, etc. One client has some business in Australia that I can help with, so there's that.....It's a long shot, so we'll see.
I hope everyone is well and happy here since we last spoke....it's getting exciting, opening day in a few weeks!
Daniel, if you're out there I'd like to personally thank you for providing some details in your article, e.g. FIP, and then providing the components for traditionalists like me. The article was very well written, and the summary of the stats at the bottom is very helpful.....I didn't know you had this talent, I thought you were just an MSTI moderator!
Hello to all, happy new year. I really like the new format, and I love the Dodger's chances in 2014!

I still exist......and I'm still a huge Dodger fan....
I want to wish everyone here and their families a very Merry Xmas, and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. Please be safe.
Keep in mind pitchers and catchers report in about 8 weeks!

Me as well POC, if we can score 4.5 runs a game consistently, we can win over 100 games easily with that group.

I guess so, now that we won't sign Nolasco, there's definitely an opening.
I'll fill in the rest....because Ned like to roll the dice...
So...Why would we want Dan Haren? I assume everyone's read that report today.
For me, that's the gif of the year....

Ok, my bad. But my point was with Punto gone, Ned will be worried about Guerrero taking over, so he'll probably resign MEllis.
Ned tends to overreact, so he'll probably bring back Mark Ellis asap. Sort of like when he overreacted and signed J.D.Drew, but not quite.
Is there a proper way to slide headfirst, or just a proper way to slide?
