Another battery draining device. LG is very lousy software and updating handsets. Samsung rules period.
Definitely NOTHING to see here. Motorola has been soft and will always be soft in the android landscape.....
@DannyB91979....Battery life on the Htc Dna is pitiful we all know this compared to Galaxy Note 2, Razr Maxx Hd, Galaxy S3, and now Htc One and Galaxy S4. Verizon got what they wanted a carrier exclusive. That's all Verizon cares about exclusive deals and cosmetics internal alterations of devices. Verizon sucks monkey balls.
Whatever SAMSUNG DECIDES to do is great for me. After the Galaxy Note 2 i definitely will be purchasing the Galaxy Note 3 day one of launch without fail...
Verizon is a farce and a sad joke in carrier land. I wouldn't purchase any device on Verizon not even for free.
@MatteoRodrigo Everyone already knows the exact difference it's the Spen.
Yes sir now the whole world can get a great look at what the Galaxy Note 3 will be like later in 2013. Samsung showing everyone the way.
People can say whatever they want about facebook in general. But this is much bigger than facebook this is about another launcher coming to market and actually probably being better than Apex launcher and Launcher Pro as well as whatever else exist. This is about something that appears to be innovative that NOBODY else took the time to think of. So rather you decide not to use facebook doesn't matter cause millions upon millions will give this a true shot. Plus it is being backed by the BIG DOGS of android SAMSUNG,QUALCOMM, AT&T, HTC, and FACEBOOK definitely enough support this to get it off the ground. I don't see Google or Twitter, or anyone else offering this so YES something new is kool to try who knows this might just stick. I will install it on my Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2 on April 12th.
Official Twitter application getting better and better.
Typical Verizon dud..
Much applause to tmobile and it's roll out of aggression. On this day like it or not the number three carrier in the states is tmobile period.
I applaud tmobile for having the heart to not only change the game. But to think about how their current customers would benefit from these changes. Not only will new customers benefit from these great plans and great devices. But current customers will get deals galore on future handsets especially if you have devices to trade. I am 100% happy i kicked Verizon to the curb in June 2012.
I am glad I kicked Verizon to the curb when they crapped up the Galaxy Nexus from December 15th 2011 to June 24th 2012. Being on Tmobile since has been a total joy. My Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 are the perfect device on tmobile
Clearly Samsung not only owns android but are the leaders in the tech game when it comes to software development and implementation of features on handsets. After selling 213million Galaxy S3's and Galaxy Note 2's in 2012 they are clearly on their way to selling 250 million Galaxy S4's and Galaxy Note 3's. We who purchase these products are well aware of the value of user enhancements and just overall user experience. Samsung caters to their customers needs and that's all that matters. They done have a stale boring and dull platform like Apple, Blackberry, and Windows and every year you can look forward to something worthwhile when those other platforms simply sit back and do nothing of any significance.
@JackJones..What a piss head you must have a basic job in the real world. Sales is everything dweeb as htc who's struggling to stay in the market. Do yourself a favor don't quit your day job if you have one.
@JonDG...Why pay 800 dollars as you stated and NOT BE HAPPY. That makes no sense at all. Rather you like the design or not that doesn'tĀ matter much. Seems like fashion statements is what matters most to you and if so iphones are available for just those kind of folks. Otherwise if it's not broke no need to fix it. They added industry leading software solutions and features enhancements as well as a 1080p screen. People who purchase Samsung products look forward to functionality at it's highest level as well as a great user experience. They did enough for their customers in 2012 and this 2013 offering is good enough as well. Bottom line purchase or don't purchase.
You had to know i would respond just as i did directly to HTC and it's Twitter ambush which went on into the wee hours of Friday morning. I won't take anything away from the HTC ONE it's clearly a wonderfully constructed handset definitely a looker and personally i like that blinkfeed feature it's a wonderful idea. That will make some purchase the handset based on that aspect alone. But honestly people have grown much more than that over the years and in today's 2013 market place functionality as well as user enhancements is the name of the daily game. That's what Samsung products offer they have TOP OF THE LINE software development and implementation of features that are industry leading nobody can take that away from Samsung. They provide and cater to their customers needs by providing removable batteries and sdcard expansion that is still so valuable to people REGARDLESS of what Google thinks with it's Nexus line devices. The funny part is haters will hate and regardless of that hate people who purchase Samsung products know every year they will see an industry leading feature that later on everyone would be trying to copy. In today's market like it or not the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 are the GOLD STANDARD of the industry and now you can add the Galaxy S4 to that list of GOLD STANDARD devices. My only question which i asked HTC on it's twitter page was if you we're actually the top dogs in this industry why release a product with version 4.1.2 jellybean when 4.2.2 was clearly the better choice. Never got any response from that question. Bottom line the Galaxy S4 might not look like the Htc One but the software and features as well as the overall fluidity and user experience is far better that's for sure. The time has come for people to realize that fashion statements in technology land means nothing in today's world. When you purchase a handset you want to know what experience will you get from that purchase. That device must have industry leading capabilities and must perform accordingly Samsung products do exactly that. They should look forward to an increase to 250 million smartphones sold in 2013 REGARDLESS of any Nexus 5, Motorola Xphone, Lg Optimus G pro, Iphone 5s/6 or any other launched handset. Samsung has brought innovative products and solutions to the market for the last three years especially the last 2yrs and based on that they are the manufacturer that everyone is chasing and copying for that matter. You can rest assured that the overall sales of the HTC One won't be anything near the Galaxy S4 or the past sales of the Galaxy S3 in 2012 for that matter. But Htc will sell handsets at a better clip in 2013 than they did in 2012. Based on that they should be happy. It's the consumer who drives this market and based that the consumers have spoken Samsung clearly owns this space.
Pretty stupid press release no doubt. They didn't tell the consumer nothing. Samsung already told us all carriers will have it before this unpacked event. Great job Ass t&t.
No doubt HTC has the ultimate build quality..
Flexible 1080p display=CheckExynos 5 Octa processor in the United States clocked at 1.8ghz=Check Wireless Charging=Check And the KICKER: The Galaxy S4 will as a bonus have a pad that will enable the device owner to measure blood pressure, and blood sugar levels as well as other signs regarding health. The monitoring of certain physiological signs would definitely represent an useful application for all customers from children to the elderly. The overall versatility of the Galaxy S4 will revolutionize the gadget market in 2013.You can ONLY imagine what the GALAXY NOTE 3 will be like later in Sept/Oct 2013.....The rest I have NO COMMENT....One thing is for sure NOTHING will ever beat Samsung in the android landscape that's for sure...
