There is so much offered on the internet it's easy to end up trying to "taste" a little of everything.  You end up full, but not healthy!  Healthy businesses know who they are, what they are trying to accomplish and how to go about getting it done.  Too many go for the "execute" before the "strategy" and end up with a mess.  Great information to follow for getting where we want to be by focusing deliberately on how to get there.

I refer to the FB "like" and number of Twitter followers as "false positives" in my new eBook, A Splendid Start to Creating an Internet Presence *WITHOUT GOING BROKE.  They are false positives, because although it is positive to have people following and liking you - leads are in the numbers afterall - it isn't actual business, the false part of it - and what we all want is what you've outlined so wonderfully right here - from friend to spend.  Very excellent infographic - would love to share it with my audience, with your permission of course.

As a content provider for real estate professionals, once they are convinced that blogging is an excellent marketing feature, the next hurdle I have to overcome is convincing them to blog things that interest potential readership, and not self serving posts!  Whatever the subject, the ideal is to write from the viewpoint of the consumer (for businesses) while writing in your unique voice and getting your story out to the public.  Being open to articles outside the obvious is going to achieve the balance needed to make blogging productive.  Thanks for the reminder to keep our eyes and hearts open!

Since the day I discovered you I've loved your posts and appreciate them.  There is another side to things - deliberately choosing to do LESS because that's all you WANT to do.  I have a tiny little blog content business and just a few clients and its PLENTY for me for where I am in my life and where I want to be.  Sure, once in awhile, the idea of "more money" runs into my semi-retired attitude, and I hurry to open a back door and let it run right out again!  There comes a point where you want to do other things.  I'm grateful to be at that point.

7, 9 and 11 are also pet peeves for me.  12 shared new information and that is always a great thing to have happen! 8 is a subject I've blogged about myself.  This is the second time I've come across one of your posts, Rebekah, and I've really enjoyed them!  Thanks for sharing.

@KenMueller @proghostblogger excellent points.  Poking fun at myself, can't believe how I spelled copyright!  Opps! That's a pet peeve even.  But, if you post something online, shouldn't we be held to a standard of self awareness that privacy is LOST and you chose to make the pictures public?  It certainly is a sticky area.  Same with our blog content.  I write as GhostbloggerMarie.com content for Real estate agents and like all bloggers, post to all kinds of social media, because we blog so people will read.  I recognize that anyone can take my ideas, curate them and/or repost them as their own.  It's the way of the internet. I would think that pictures on the internet would be similar to trespassing on property.  Difficult to prosecute unless you've posted No Trespassing.  Am I grasping at straws?

@KenMueller @proghostblogger  Graphics aren't always the best choice, and taking just the right picture yourself can be very time consuming.  Question though, if all the images on the internet are copywrited, why aren't they labeled as such?  Shouldn't there be some kind of standard?

@ginidietrich @proghostblogger what's even funnier is the dog has a personality just about the exact opposite of Jack Bauer! Sweetest nicest dog ever! Not 1 'tough bone' in his body.

What a great way to inspire interaction, I will just HAVE to steal it, thanks!

1. My favorite food I love is Steak and baked potatoes, though I also love sauerbraten, which I only get about once every 5 years!

2. My favorite musician is my husband, Clay Krebs.  He writes amazing Praise & Worship songs that glorify God

3. Once I was introduced, I was hooked on 24.  Go Jack!  Even my dog is named after him.

4. Though I have many favorites from childhood through right now, the Bible remains number 1 with me.  It lives, it speaks to every aspect of life at every stage of life.

5. Even when I lived elsewhere, the Bronco's have always held my loyalty.  Sorry to see Tebow go, not a big Manning fan, but would LOVE to see my Bronco's in the Super Bowl 2013!!

Thanks for the opportunity to share Ken!  Visit my sometime at www.ghostbloggermarie.com and comment on one, two or all the Social Media for Realtors posts I have up there.  Great day to you!
