I got around half of them. Give me a year or two, though, when I've gotten to the point of hiring a team, and I'll probably score much higher. Probably not on the "I'm the best sales person I know" question, though. :)

Sure wish I was anywhere near Ottawa this weekend! The whole reason I started following this blog in the first place was because I heard you speak about Marketing in the Round on a live webinar and loved your presentation style. Knock 'em dead this weekend! (Not literally, though.)

I work in the field of online marketing, not PR, but I also get a fair amount of "3 days before Christmas" clients that are looking for a quick fix when what they really need is a plan. I wonder if most "intangible" service professions (not places like Les Schwab) have trouble making other people understand what they do.

This is a fantastic post! Goals are pretty confusing for most folks, and these are simple to follow and simple to understand!
"If you build it, they will not come." That sums up nearly all of my clients, who come to me for social media help once they realize that merely having a website won't make them an overnight success. In the process of teaching them about social media, we invariably end up developing an online marketing plan, not just a Facebook game plan. That's why I call myself an online marketing coach. Because really, a website and email list and social media are all part of a single strategy.

@ginidietrich @fieldsf Well, if your choices were between pink & orange, I highly approve of the orange. I know you're one smart cookie, and all, but I don't associate you with pink . . .

Love the new look! I like the Go Pro button, despite the fact that orange is not my favorite color. :)
I happened to miss the post, but I am delighted to hear that people came to Yvette's rescue. It's like a whole classroom of kids coming together to beat off a bully. Perhaps that's why I enjoy popping into this blog so much!

Hi ladies! I'm totally psyched to meet all of you! I started my own website design & social media marketing business a little over a year ago. I'm eager to move from a one-on-one service model to creating some online training programs. Hopefully, being around this inspiring and motivated group of women will rub off on me and get me to implement some of my genius training project ideas!
In my "spare" time, I practice ballet, karate, ballroom dancing, and I sing with a women's barbershop chorus here in Beaverton. By the way, we are recruiting women singers for our Christmas chorus (Oct-Dec), so if you or any ladies you know love to sing Christmas music, come check out Sunset A'Capella!

iDrive backs up both parts of your website, including the database and all your files. And it's free!
Akismet used to be free; now it's not. However, wordpress Jetpack has the same functionality, and it's still free!
Finally, I use Cincopa for inserting photo galleries - free and easy to use, what's not to love!
