I agree i really do think that it is a must. Also think its a must to buyout richards and find somwhere to ship hagelin. I just dont see where he fits on this team. He was brutal last night on the first line.

Forget about the Rangers being down 3-0 before. Series is 3-1 now, I would hope most of you remember that Bruins were on the verge of coughing up a 3-1 lead to the Leafs. Take it one game at a time, anything is possible. #NYRbelieve. Lets fucking go, history can be made.

@KevinDeLury I was hoping Biron was starting today. Lundqvist was just off today, and this is aside from his behind the net scare. He looked like an average goalie today, not the goalie we know and love.

Defense today was absolutely atrocious and it was clear DZ was out of position time and time again, however I still felt that Lundqvist was not at his best. I know that he cant be stellar every game. He was having an extremely hard time tracking the puck, which is usually a non issue for him. That being said I am in no way blaming him for the loss.

@KevinDeLury Cmon Kev... You're going to tell me you would not rather have Zucc on the third line with Cally and Kreider instead of Boyle. That line just sounds dangerous. Kreider Cally Zucc. Were going to have 3 I believe very offensive lines. I cant wait to see him against Ottawa!

Pyatt would be a healthy scratch. Haley brings something to the table that we desperately miss... Someone willing to drop the mitts. Asham is near to a return supposedly.

Theres the true question, will Fasth get the chance. If he clicks, him and Gabby can be awesome together. I have a lot of hope in Kreider, i personally would of rather seen him in the minors. But if hes going to get minutes then Im fine with seeing him in the NHL. I just want him to be more physical.

In theory that Fasth does get the call  to join the Rangers.

Hagelin - Stepan - Nash

Fasth - Richards - Gaborik

Kreider - Miller - Callahan

Asham - Powe - Haley

How do those lines look. It may be risky, but desperate times call for desperate measures. If they can get Kreider to use his body more, the 3rd line is going to be a real pain to play against, likewise for the 4th.

@TruBluEsp  @AG_Blue  @Jbianco  @KevinDeLury I completely agree with this. I would like to see Haley and Asham on a line together, driving the net hard fashwashing defensemen. We need guys in the lineup that are willing to get their hands dirty. That is what we seriously lack this year.

@AG_Blue  @TruBluEsp  @Jbianco  @KevinDeLury I want Haley back. We lack a guy that is willing to drop the mitts. He could of sparked something last night with a fight in the first. And he isn't afraid to throw his body around.

@KevinDeLury  @jasonshyer Could not agree more with that. On paper Rangers "won", but not with the quality shots we took. At least half of those shots were muffins on to the belly.

I'm not sure if anyone agrees with me.. But I would actually like to see Haley back in the lineup. I personally think he would of had a bigger impact in the Florida game then Kreider did. Haley was the only guy willing to drop the gloves. Maybe he could of sparked something early on in the game. Who knows.

@Melissa (blknblueshirts) Do you know who were talking about here? Lundqvist... The guy will do whatever it takes to win, and if that meant dealing with headaches to make sure he gets this team 2 points; then he'll keep his mouth shut till after the game. Can't fault him because of that. He also won the game for the rangers hands down. You weren't getting him out of the net. Too big of a game.

Thank you for the kind words.

I agree with your point of splitting up the first line. The thought and sound of the line looks great on paper, but it is definitely not working as well as we all expected. Id like to see Nash play with some gritty guys as you said who can get in the corners, win battles and feed him pucks.

Nash is a goal scorer, put guys on his line that will give him chances to shoot, and hell score a ton of goals for us.

Boyle deffinetly needs to be sent down, and let him find his game. Call up Manshinter.

Its clear Boyle is lacking something, last year every play he was finishing a check, I dont think Ive seen him finish any this year.

Waste of a roster spot seems to me.

@Beckfan5 Honestly agree 100 percent regarding MDZ. This guy is looked at so greatly. I cant see why, He makes huge defensive mistakes, bad turnovers, horrible pinches. I cant remember  how many times against jersey he was below the dots in the offensive zone as their team was going through the neutral zone.

Regarding him on the PP.... Horrible. Stralman is 100 times better then him. I personally think stralman should be on the first line PP. Id like to see a big body in front of the net. I dont care if they want to throw Nash in front, as long as we have a nice low shot coming from the point to create rebounds and Dirtbag shit goals, which we desperately lack.

First time commenting here, feel like i needed to say something.

I see the Rangers key issue being the fact that they are constantly scrambling. They cannot get any fore check going or really maintain any flow for more then 2-3 minutes without having a 5-8 minute slump there after. They need to do a better job in the defensive end winning puck battles, and establishing a good breakout. It was never a problem last year in the defensive end. Not sure whats going on, Im hoping it will come back with some time.

They need the system to begin working in the defensive zone, and need to get in the shooting lanes blocking more shots. The rangers cannot keep dumping the puck in if they wont get in deep to get it, and when they do get it, they lose the battle 4 out of 5 times.

Their power play simply put needs shots. Stop setting up the pretty shot, get low shots off the pads on net from wherever you can take it on the ice. And have someone plant their ass in front of the net. Big rebounds will come out of it, and DIRTY GOALS, which we don't get enough of. We need to shy away from pretty plays to garbage, dirt bag goals. Ill tell you something, i love Stralman at the point on the power play. DZ on the other hand im very dissapointed in. He will make good passes, but when it comes time to shooting, seems like hes only releasing the shot, when a forward is a foot from him. He cant get a shot through

Few more things to say.

Very happy with JT. Miller, hes an awesome 2 way player, think hes going to fit into Torts system perfectly.

Boyle is an absolute mess this year, he has done nothing for the rangers in any sense. The only reason i like him at the moment, is because he is a good PK man but that's not looking so good either.

Halpern is a gem, along with Asham finding his place now it seems, however id like to see him drop the gloves a bit more.

Feel bad for Hank this year, being left out to dry.

Everyone is giving Nash so much shit.. This guy creates the most offense on the team HANDS DOWN. He is taking shots, creating plays, battling. Gaborik has been struggling since the hatrick. Thought he played horrible against Jersey. It will only be a matter of time before Nash starts to bury the puck frequently, hes getting the chances.
