-You said you live in Western Siberia. You see I am half Russian for seriously. West. Siberia is in the middle of Russia. Now if you are Russian, as you say! How the F*** do you have internet in a region where it isn't booming that much, perhaps industrially it is, definitely doesnt have a large consumer booms on electronics. Name me your internet provider that you use ? If you don't live in Siberia, don't bother.
You wrote that you live in a town, I'll tell what a town is : "A town is a human settlement larger than a village but smaller than a city " !! Now how could you have internet in a village in middle of Siberia. Its not Moscow where you can have internet in a villa in a rural place. But a town in Siberia ? no way. Pure Geographical error.
The way you write shows that you have bad english, therefore you write in Russian. But somehow mostly all the links, are in perfect english. Therefore if you were a true Russian, you would try to be precise, many people say that english is not their first language, at their bottom of their comment/s. Therefore you consciously write all of those errors pretending to be a Russian guy.
Now if you lived in Siberia and said "that I live in a city, Region SIBERIA ", I would have given a second thought to your answer. The post's such as balalaika you posted has nothing to do with the subject we are talking. Thats pure waffling. Weirdly, I founded it on Amerikanski novosti ( american news). No other news sources ????
Below in previous posts when a OP wanted an answer from you. You wrote " later I have to work". This was around 11Pm Floridian time for me. The live time at that moment in Siberia was 10am. Most people start work from 7am or 8am and honestly, people are not going to sit on the internet during working hours. Plus nobody wants to put their details in work computers as it isn't secure as your home PC/ nbook. Unbelievable. Thus explains that you don't live in Siberia.
Seems to me, your a guy who is maniacally in love with Russia for a very weird reason. You either live in US, and any stupid, weak, facts you it as propaganda.
You post stuff that are political, not informational, not productive. You can post as much as you want. Ignoring is the best option.
You can give reasons, excuses. Wont matter, don't care. What matters to me is that your phony !!
Nothing more to add. -------------------
@Sibir I really think you are bluffing. Your quoting V.Putin and other Russian Gov. Members , what does this have to do with Syria? I think, what you post is googlable information, nothing new, nothing that has importance, just '' copy, paste '' ? Oh and small towns in Siberia DONT have Internet. Seems to me your immature and far away from the truth and you definitely don't live in Siberia. Just utter bullocks !!
@KineticFury @Sibir Just wondering, why should US fight with Russia ???
@SEAN SPOONTS lol
@Sibir Dude, Is everything Ok ? Are you high ? what does 20th century events you posted have to do with this subject ?
@ArcticWarrior Yeah. Sorry if you got involved.. No worries.
@ArcticWarrior @majrod @hjw1dr Dude, relax. Ok, as many people on this post wrote about their views that women should not serve in combat roles. I thought long about that subject and I concluded that yes, that is true. Why you may ask ? For I.E take the mission in Mog 1993. Specops Rangers, not regular infantry but one of the "elite infantry" accompanied by CAG.
Now, there were all men, no women. Fight was tough, hell, horrible, maybe even brutal. Now lets take Battle of Tora Bora. Hell. One word to describe it.
Now imagine a women enlisting in ranger school. Graduated. And ? A journey to 75 regiment ? To regular infantry ? Could she later join the Green berets ? Could she join CAG ? Could she be deployed last minute without notice ? Saying goodbye to family, kids. Her kids ( if she does have them at some point ) !
Could she blend in like CAG did with Pashtuns ? She cant grow a beard. What if a heavy ambush of Talibans attacked Her team. Shes not a man, now horrible things can happen to her if ' savage ' men find her. Dont want to describe them, as I hate it .
Now lets face it, USA Specops is one of best, they care about students during training phases, they slowly exposure them to stresses. Its not sick like the Kaibiles in Guatemala( biting a chickens head to eat it raw ), not brutal like Russian Spetsnaz. So lets take it from another point of view. From the military around the world do women want to become Specops. Its nonsense. Imagine seeing a women SAS, or a women Spetsnaz! It Doesnt happen, Im sure even women dont want to do that.
Now If the Liberals suggested this idea, Nobody Im sure who is in the Military in the correct mind would agree on this. Investing a man is expensive, bullets, gear, chutes are used. Now I am thinking, What in the world would a woman want to fight, jump from the plane and land into the ocean, swim 3 miles, do the mission and then exfil. Its nonsense. This Idea should be put in a shelf and forgotten, because as far as it seems it is nonsense.
Now on the other hand, there was an article a while about a women in reserve, she was with the GB, and visited some Afghan villages talking and treating Civies. Now that is an asset. But enlisting to fight like the Specops community does, well don't want to sound mean, but unless she is high from weed. Very few women want to fight like SpecOps men do.
I have 19 likes but no pts ?? any reason ?
@Contagio Yeah its really scary when I read it a while ago. The gulag, The horror. You hit the bullseye with the word " brutality " about that time.. Yeah It was very tough.
@Contagio By Alexander Solzhenitsyn ? True, also the germans attacked the Russian and invaded them. So it was like Sink or swim fight ! Kind of different from our 21 century topic.
Jack totally agree with your article. However what can you say about the Russian women who were in the military during World war 2, I mean they were some very good snipers, good medics and pretty much helped in everything at that time. They withstand the mental and physical stress of war. British women became pilots also..
(SOF personnel)SF, Seals, PJs and others may experience PTSD at some point during their deployments or may never experience it. I think that soldiers have PTSD when they undermine themselves, got into some deep s*** during their mission, whether they lost a teammate, got wounded very badly ( IEDs ), or other things depending on that situation.
But I think that SOF personnel, from day 1 of training are battered and broken physically and mentally in training. So to them, when the times come, there will be hard, mental stable men that are able to endure the physiological stresses of war. And as Noted above, Infantry Marine or Army have 8wks, 7wks of training.SOF ( 2years min ). Hell week in SEALs are 5 days. Marine Bootcamp end of graduation are enduring only 24 hours of their hell week. Another example: SOF personnel when you chat with them or the ones that have written books say that about their first shot at the enemy, they didnt feel any fear, worrying etc. Most said '' Its either me going down or my buddies or him ( enemy ). So yeah I think that SOF are more prepared, mentally and physically. So again few will have PTSD (SOF ), even if they have it, many will not say it. However when the times come to hang their towel/sword, They know its time to move on.
However, Im most worried about the infantry soldiers, how they deal with PTSD ( if they have it ) and how they are going to act, hopefully they wont kill someone and end up in jail, nor will they kill themselves.
Rest in peace Sergeant Dahlke. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Godspeed.
@McPosterdoor @Tango9 @Old PH2 yeah lol
@Tango9 look, if you meant about my sarcasm comment that you think your wrong. I wrote what I thought, as i scrolled down you wrote that it might be fake the whole article. I gave it a thought, could be after all your right.
I think that the whole purpose of the story is that the government doesnt care about veterans, even if they care, they are not really that bothered and support them much. I think the moral of this story is that whilst your young like 18,19 make wise choices, think carefully after 20 years, maybe better go to university, get a degree, have a secure payment etc. Whats going to happen to you ? I think that the shooter didnt want to show off, say stuff about his job. His life. He wanted the system to be fair. Many soldiers sacrifice their physical and mental health for wars etc and lets agree SEALS make 50K. Not a lot of money for such a dangerous job.
Howard Wasdin was a lucky guy, he served in DEVGRU but he became a chiropracter which is wow and really thats good because his life didnt go in vain. He wanted to commit suicide, He had PTSD, wanted a bullet in his head but his ideas went away when he saw that he had to live for his children.
Now lets say, Military people are not the people who could buy a Bently with cash, or are overflowed with cash in banks. Whilst people like lawyers, dress in 12K suits and may have the financial money to buy up to 5 Bentlys, But have they sacrificed their blood for their country?
What the shooter had in benefit, was his voice.He was a DEVGRU member and especially with the world going crazy with SEALS from airsofters trying to imitate them to the movies like ZDT going crazy about the bin laden death and the specops mission. And may I remind who leaked about the death of Bin laden? Who gave details about the mission to ZDT producers. He has his freedom of speech as an American. He Wanted fair play, not being left in the dark whilst politicians manipulate everyone with their words.
My Opinion is yes SEALS are SEALs. They are awesome, fearless and true heros. BUT they need to be heard, be respected, and given them the money that they truly earn. Whilst people going into Law and politics, He who gives speeches, never served and just insults the veterans. The topic is fragile. What they(SEALs) do need is higher Salaries, Higher Pensions.
We cannot Depend on the most elite forces in US to protect us with them receiving little pay.
To be honest, it sounds like an Ivy league med student which to be exact we could say that SEALs are like Ivy league. Who worked nightime shifts, countless hours of studying, practicing surgery. Only after graduation being left out, given the job of being nurse or something of that sort which he didnt even aim for.
Your opinion ?
