Budget for me is the most important factor when looking for an apartment. Oh yeah, and location too. Then, based on that, I would make a list of the things I want out of an apartment. it's less private than homes or a condo but sometimes, that's all we can afford... for now.

Good points KC. Successful business doesn’t just succeed out of luck. Maybe there exceptions to that rule but most need a good and thorough business planning. Not doing so could definitely guarantee a failure. In order to be successful, you need to set your business' goals and why you are putting up this business so that you can prepare for what's ahead..

Of course you need to be sure first of the people who are renting it out just a precaution. But anything else, these are great ideas. Earning a little money for that extra space in your home would be nice.

Okay, I admit. I like to shop when I'm depressed, stressed out from work, or even when I just feel happy. But I don’t think I’m a shopaholic. I can easily say no to a beautiful bag or gorgeous shoes when it’s not needed. I just find it stress-relieving to shop. I think it’s the same to most of women, right?

I marvel at those who can sustain and have the time for finding and clipping coupons. They have like this scrapbook full of them, all arranged accordingly. I use one or two when I find a good deal but sometimes, it makes you buy things you don’t really need.

Know your options. You can’t help it. Just like what's mentioned about 'Utilities are a necessity'. But it doesn't mean that you don't have an alternative. Know if there are any other electricity or water suppliers in your area and compare their prices.

I use coupons from time to time because they give me discounts. I clip coupons from magazines or online but I do not make living out of it. I bring them to the store and when they work, then that would be awesome. If not, then that’s cool too. Just make sure you bring money with you though.

But but, I love bogos, particularly toiletries. I just make sure that they are consumed before I buy another one. And when I shop, I make a list so that I know the things I really need. Also, try to buy your groceries alone. Don’t bring the kids with you.

Walmart, Best Buy, target. It was on the news last year. A couple of individuals were taken to the hospital while there was one who got shot because of shoplifting. No sure if it was entertaining or devastating. It was mayhem every time.

I've been keeping my eye on the Kindle Fire HD for months. Too bad nobody thought about giving it me as a gift last Christmas. Oh well, now I have a reason to buy one for myself with this service. Thanks.

You might want to take a look at your home appliances and gadgets. Those that you have been using for more than a decade already should be replaced. Why? Simply because they are no longer at their optimum performance.

Don't buy things you don't need. That is what I've been trying to tell myself. But it doesn't mean I don't treat myself once in a while. I do. But I also have other priorities. I have a goal and I'm saving for it.

Keep your appliances clean and in order all the time. Let the technician check them annually to see if they are still performing at their best. It’s a little gesture but try not to overstuff your refrigerator and arrange the stuff inside correctly to allow the air to circulate well. This way, your fridge won’t work too much.

It's quite difficult to save especially if you have a lot of bills to pay every month. But you can always start small. It is easier said than done, I know. Still, if you don't start saving now, when? When you’re already old or retired? Bad idea.

Wow, a plot in Ireland. I wouldn't have thought of that. Well, Christmas is over but it doesn't mean that we can’t give something for the men in our lives right? My guy loves to cook so maybe I'll get him an electric smoker. Ooh, or maybe the Art of Shaving kit. That's more affordable.

I am such a hoarder of clothes thinking that I’ll go on a diet and eventually, the old ones will fit me. Haha. They ended up with my sister since they are not doing my wardrobe any good.  Yeah, I donated some too.  The ones I have, I make sure that they can be worn in multiple occasions. I mean why buy a dress that you can only wear once? We need to be practical here.

There's nothing wrong with going with the trends but this costs a lot of money. You need to buy clothes every time there's a fad. So why not wear something you can wear any time of the year. How to look like a million bucks? Wear something you actually like. Because no matter how expensive your outfit may be if you are not feeling it or if you are not comfortable with what you are wearing, it won’t look good on you.
