That was a legitimate speed bump, and I am impressed that Mona and Beth were able to survive that in addition to the U-Turn.It most likely won’t matter in the end because I think that it is pretty much down to Max and Katie and Anthony and Bates.I missed the show because I work the late shift at DISH on Sunday nights, but I was able to catch up with a recording.I love how my DISH Hopper records everything on CBS during primetime and saves it for eight days, so I never miss TAR!
Vaughn was not the best host we have seen this season, but the better than average writing in this episode made it one of the better SNL’s from this year. I was talking to a coworker during my shift at DISH who just couldn’t get past his dislike of Vaughn to like the episode, so I don’t expect that many people appreciated it. Thanks for posting these because I missed the last performance after I fell asleep. Fortunately my DISH Hopper let me pause the show in the living room and continue watching it in my room so I didn’t end up sleeping on the couch.
I wouldn’t worry about the low score too much because Dancing with the Stars is all about the viewers’ votes and Victor has the most touching backstory of the season.I almost missed the premiere because I was working late at DISH on Monday, but I was able to catch up with a recording.I love how my DISH Hopper records everything on ABC during primetime because I never have to worry about setting timers when a new season starts.
I have to give Levine a lot of credit because even though he is not an actor or a comedian he did not seem intimidated at all last night, and he even went out on a limb a couple of times making fun of himself and doing outrageous things. I was talking to a coworker during my shift at DISH and she said that her favorite sketch was “Circle Work” because of Levine’s character. I fell asleep after weekend update, but thankfully I was able to catch the rest with a recording. I love how my DISH Hopper allows me to start watching my show in one room and then finish watching in another, but I never stay awake for longer than 30 min after I move to my bedroom. I am glad that I was able to see the end because they announced Justin Bieber will be hosting the next one!
I give Lena a lot of credit for exploring the major flaws of young, urban, white women in her character because it is just inviting people to believe those things about her. It really shows that self-awareness that is the key to her success and that of the show. I was talking to a coworker at DISH who thought that how she reacted to the cops coming after she called was unrealistic, but I thought that her irrationality was very true to real life. I missed the show because I was watching Downton Abbey, but I was able to watch a recording of it after. I love how my DISH Hopper can record up to six shows at once during primetime, so I never miss anything. Between Girls, Revenge, and Downton Abbey my Sunday nights are really filling up!
Last night’s show was not that good, but I will give them some points for trying out some edgier material after the very safe Christmas episode. The Top Dog Chef was completely pointless and I think that the pros at SNL can do better than jokes about dogs eating gross stuff. I missed the last half of the show because I fell asleep, but I was able to catch up with a recording. I love how my DISH Hopper can hold up to 2,000 hours of entertainment because even though we record a lot of different series I can still afford to keep this mediocre episode. I did really like the spoof on the Hobbit Sequels and Jennifer Lawrence was really cute, so it was not a complete waste.
