Streaming would work find if I always had a steady data connection and my data was unlimited.. unfortunately this isn't the case. I carry music and movies on my phone and have no issues listening to or watching things I like, when I want.

@EmbodyGreatness what makes the s3 special is that its a competent phone overall. can't say the same for the one x, one x+, etc etc

@Druav @pHALLUS htc's problems go way way past the lack of marketing. their phones have build issues, lack features other phones have, lack carrier distribution, and even their most highly touted features (camera) end up just being midpack at best. they have a lot to fix, and changing the home button around isn't helping at all.
@EmbodyGreatness @LaceyClapsadl yup.. less sales for htc yay!
@Pierre Alexandre Lemay @Renaissance247 @Joe Fedewa yup i won't buy it.. and htc's position in the market place will continue to sink because of poor decisions like this..ok..
@Renaissance247 yup, while 2300 seems adequate.... for 2012's 720 screens, it will put htc in the same situation that that plagued their one x. beautiful screen, mediocre battery life.
my galaxy note 2 lasts between 1-3 days between charges... at worst 13-16hrs of heavy usage
my htc one x was 20hrs max...... sometimes I killed it in 6 hours.
LG seemed to have learned with the upcoming optimus g pro and it's 3000mAh battery yumm
@Renaissance247 @DanDaniel yes and that is htc's problem. they make their devices assuming that everything will work 100% the way they planned.
they didn't take into account other variables like the ever-popular data caps and the lack of modern mobile infrastructure outside of major cities. I just feel that if LG, Samsung, and Sony can make smaller faster phones, but still manage to have microsd slots (and/or removable batteries), then htc should also be able to. unfortunately, htc continues to make poor decisions.
If this is their flagship for 2013, I don't see 2013 being any different than 2012 for them.
@Renaissance247 @Joe Fedewa again, the same poor one-sided menality.
if this was such a good idea, everyone would have embraced it. Guess what? it isn't. Htc is the only major manufacturer to put the home button on the right. They just keep digging their own grave.
good luck when you are in an area with poor signal, or reached your data cap. I'll still be listening to my favorite music, and you won't.
@Joe Fedewa you're right, what the hell were they thinking?
no renaissance, you do not tell us how we use our phones. if we consume more media then we need more storage. everyone has different usage habits and htc giving us expandable memory only increases the types of buyers. your idiot menality is the one that got them where they are today.
if this is the new htc phone then it's over for htc
is it that difficult to wait? better than overpaying no?
