@wherewasi The Devils are losing their panache at a rapid rate. Although the games between the Rangers and Devils should pack out the house I don't think it has the same feeling as years past. Also, it just sucks going to a game in Newark. I went last year and it was horrid.

Thing are beginning to come together. I still think the lines need to be played with a little. I really like the Nash, Kreider, and Hayes line. I think this Hayes kid could be a stud in the future. It was refreshing to see a defensemen score the  GW goal and get in on the action. Nevertheless, it was great to get a W by beating the devils. LGR!

Is it just me or does the Nash, Kreider, and Hayes line get you excited? I can't wait for this game, LET'S GO RANGERS!

@scrangersfan @BleedingBlue I never once said the Girardi is bad.. This whole point I made is about Kostka.. I think Kostka is garbage and always will be. McD and G are a great top line pair and I would never change that.

@scrangersfan @BleedingBlue I don't mean to be rude but if you are going to be a dick I must respond. If you know ANYTHING about hockey you should know that they are never going to remove a defensemen from a line that is having success to fill in for a short term injury/injured player. Moving Staal to the first line then back to the second is absolutely stupid. Then again, I guess you don't know hockey.

@KevinTheNYRBlog @BleedingBlue Yes, I know. I was just stating some points because I think this guy is a bum! a bum! :)

How can we say it is greatly exaggerated? He makes extremely foolish mistakes that don't come up in the box score. When you watch him on the ice you have to grit your teeth because you know his mental lapses are coming. I think he's just not up to par with what we need/expect from him.

@KevinMccarthy I would rather be down a defensemen than watch this guy play.

Just saw the power rankings from ESPN.. why do they even bother trying to cover hockey. Its like watching an amputee trying to swim.. just painful.

I must say it was refreshing to see this game last night. Overall, it has been a very disheartening season. We are way to talented to be playing the way we have been playing, we also have set our expectations very high because we have come to expect this out of Torts and his team. With that being said, I think if they keep building upon the relationships on the ice we will see some serious win streaks headed our way. Hopefully last night the sleeping giant has awaken.

@AG_Blue 4 million a year for a player we are still waiting to develop is a little deep. I absolutely love Staal I just think his pay should reflect his contract. He is only 26 but if we gave every potential player these deals we would be in serious trouble.

@gravey94 I sort of feel bad for the guy. We gave an average player too much money. He was never going to be able to live up to the hype and I believe it caused his game to take a serious dive. It was way too much pressure for him. I think it's a similar situation with Staal, too much pressure for an average player. His contract is what? nearly 4M a year, that's crazy. As much as I love him he's another one that we need to think about getting some players for, if it's possible.

Hey guys, I been a long time reader of the blog, however, never made an account to make any comments on anything. I am glad to see that the Redden situation is finally being put to rest. With that said, Saturday can't come soon enough. LGR!
