Really?  Then why just Detroit?  I will tell you why Myke., it is because of the liberal control over the city for over half a century.  I realize you are a liberal/progressive and have to blame someone else for the failures caused by the left, but your excuses and claims are really way to thin.  One day you will grow up and be a real person that thinks for himself and see the truth.  It is not the tea party or the gop that is the problem alone, it is the LEFT that is destroying the USA.  One city at a time if they have to.

Pretty sure if that is true, which I highly doubt, one conservative in over 50 years cannot change all the damage the left does.  So, I realize it does not fit the propaganda of the left to claim Detroit, but they really do own what happened there.  Too bad you are one of the stupid American voters that Jonathan Gruber speaks about.

Yet,  it is illegal under federal law to hire an illegal.  So which law should they follow.  The one the DOJ just made up, or the one that has been on the books for years and still is?  You are wrong Kip.

Are you for your government working outside the law?  That is exactly what this is.  Citizenship-discrimination?  What is that?  Illegals have no right to work under existing law.  Those with a visa can as long as the visa is good.  The DOJ is out of control under Holder.

33 years of working, never once did I need a uinon.  You can choose to be in one if you want, but they certainly should never be a requirement.  They have their place, but I do question government unions.  Wouldn't the government if it is what it claims to be, trustable enough to treat employees fairly?  If it is not, then that is what needs changed and not by unions, but by the people.  It is after all, OUR government and employees.

Apparently the teachers union forget, that the schools are not their, the standards are not theirs, it is the peoples.  This is what is wrong with all of them in this video.  They need to be brought back to reality that THEY work for US, we do not work for them.  The education and schools are for the students NOT THEM.  I am opposed to Common core and the teachers unions...every stinking one of them

I disagree with that.  It is the politicians who took an oath to us and the country.  The corporations did not.  If the policiticians had integrity and were honest, they could not be bought.  And anyone who goes off on the "evil Koch Brothers" has just shown their ignorance of the entire siuation.  George Soros ring  bell?  You act as if Democrats are clean.  I have to burst your little bubble, they are even more corrupt and more deceitful than the Republicans.  All you have it seems are tired liberal talking points without substance.  Take a look at your own party

Interesting that you talk about POLITICIANS/Government Officials on corporate welfare and then you blame the GOP/TEAMAGGOTS? Democrats are in those positions as well. They too are on corporate welfare. You do realize that the real problem is the party in power, and that would be DEMOCRATS. These are not Republican policies or laws that have kept us stagnant for 5 years. It is DEMOCRAT?LIBERAL polices that have caused it.  I am not saying Republicans are innocent, but the Democrats have been running the show for almost 6 years now.  About time they take some responsiility instead of shirking it at every turn and throwing someone else under the bus.

You are wrong in your assumptions.  And I call them assumptions, because that is exactly what they are.  What do you think gave the USA the ability to become a super power nation in such short a time?  Shorter than any other nation before. Why do you think other countries incorporate capialism and its principals into their economic policies today?  Capitalism does require some regulation.  But when government gets involved in alomost every aspect of business, and business becomes involved in government, crony capitalism, that is when you have what we have today. Capitalism is the greatest engine and most fair way for an economy to work and allow anyone who wants it, to do well financially. I would address the rest of the assumptions in your post, but it occurrs to me that what I have already written will be of no use to you.  So, neither would anything else I would write.  I can only assume that you have some other economic model in mind, like communism?  What model would you like to see?
