I disagree with that.  It is the politicians who took an oath to us and the country.  The corporations did not.  If the policiticians had integrity and were honest, they could not be bought.  And anyone who goes off on the "evil Koch Brothers" has just shown their ignorance of the entire siuation.  George Soros ring  bell?  You act as if Democrats are clean.  I have to burst your little bubble, they are even more corrupt and more deceitful than the Republicans.  All you have it seems are tired liberal talking points without substance.  Take a look at your own party

Interesting that you talk about POLITICIANS/Government Officials on corporate welfare and then you blame the GOP/TEAMAGGOTS? Democrats are in those positions as well. They too are on corporate welfare. You do realize that the real problem is the party in power, and that would be DEMOCRATS. These are not Republican policies or laws that have kept us stagnant for 5 years. It is DEMOCRAT?LIBERAL polices that have caused it.  I am not saying Republicans are innocent, but the Democrats have been running the show for almost 6 years now.  About time they take some responsiility instead of shirking it at every turn and throwing someone else under the bus.

You are wrong in your assumptions.  And I call them assumptions, because that is exactly what they are.  What do you think gave the USA the ability to become a super power nation in such short a time?  Shorter than any other nation before. Why do you think other countries incorporate capialism and its principals into their economic policies today?  Capitalism does require some regulation.  But when government gets involved in alomost every aspect of business, and business becomes involved in government, crony capitalism, that is when you have what we have today. Capitalism is the greatest engine and most fair way for an economy to work and allow anyone who wants it, to do well financially. I would address the rest of the assumptions in your post, but it occurrs to me that what I have already written will be of no use to you.  So, neither would anything else I would write.  I can only assume that you have some other economic model in mind, like communism?  What model would you like to see?
