I believe NBC Sports will stream all NBC broadcast games much like the Olympics.  So if you're in the West and are set to get the Blackhawks - Kings game you can stream for free via NBC Sports - http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/30092015/ns/sports/ 

I'm not sure you if you'll have to use your cable login like with the Olympics or not but it will be there.
