Him or Dieng from Louisville.  Similar players.  Same height and age.

I see a lot of people on here looking to get a Len or Olenyk.  I know most Duke haters won't like this idea, but what about Mason Plumlee at 12 (or trade back) to replace Perkins.  Good rebounder and finisher at the rim.  Not a great offensive player, but it's not like any body they draft will get post ups on the block.  Just think how many points and rebounds Perkins could average if he didn't have the hands of a clock and a 2" vertical.  Then amnesty Perkins, sign a guard/forward for the MLE and I think we're set.  Draft some Euros with the late picks.

@bmuelle22 I think Russell helped them design that shoe.  From the crazy colors to the crazy pattern on the bottom of the shoe.

@Fezzy @jlamb = kmart If Reggie continues to get better, we won't resign him (cost too much). Then we'll need a replacement and anyways Reggie and Fisher play together.  You could stash the kid in Europe for another season then bring him over.  He's from Germany.

Alright, even though we are in the midst of the playoffs I keep looking at this draft and seeing hardly anyone that could help the Thunder next year.  I see a lot we need a big guy talk, but I think we should be OK with Collison, Ibaka, Thabeet, and I guess Perkins if you want to count him.  The one person I am intrigued by that will be available at 13 is Dennis Schroeder.  Lightning quick PG thats a good passer, decent mid range and outside shot, and an awesome on ball defender.  In the Nike Hoop game he schooled the US point guards and fouled both of them out.  Went for 16 pts. 6 ast and got a majority of his using the pick and roll (AKA the only Thunder play Scott Brooks knows).  What do you guys think?

In reference to D. Mayberry's trade proposal earlier, why would we need J. O'Neal?  Hopefully in the playoffs we just rotate Ibaka, Collison, Perk, and KD at the 4 and 5.  If we are talking potential deals that could maybe help the Thunder, what about a P. Jones and Maynor for Vince Carter?  Dude still has game and is a good veteran bench presence for the playoffs.  Plus I think 3 million this year and next is cheap.

@d21 he is a little short but is 240 lbs. and 7' 1" wingspan so he can maybe hold his own in the post and not just get shoved aside. I think he could be Carl Landry type of player. A bit undersized but effective in the paint and midrange.

Man after watching that game, I agree with a lot of posters that we could use a 3/4 to give us another defender against Lebron and give us a more versatile small ball lineup. I don't see us trading for one (ie LRMAM or Marion) but what do you guys think of Anthony Bennett of UNLV. He looks athletic enough to be good defender and has a good looking shot. Plus he's Canadian and we more diversification in our locker room :).

70 wins HAHA! Here's for hoping to make 40 and give your lotto pick to the Suns and be a year older.

Man I love watching the Lakers lose. I hate the Heat too, but since they are in the East they will make the playoffs if they win 15 more games. The Lakers on the other hand got all the hype this year and in the West. With each loss Lakers fans panic more and more and their playoff chances shrink with each loss. THUNDERUP!

My observation, for the little that its worth, is the screen being a major part of our offense and our struggles against Miami.  Miami puts Lebron on Perk and then switches every screen he sets.  Norris Cole could end up guarding Perk and he'll try to post him up.  In my book, any Perk offensive possession is a win by the defense. With that said against most teams, if they try to switch their big onto KD or WB then its a win for us.  Man Perk is almost just obsolete vs. Miami because of Lebron and their small ball.

Who cares if Manti Te'p lied or didnt' lie about is "girlfriend".  I believe the ones that should be chastised for this is ESPN/ABC, Sports Illustrated, and other various news outlets for not doing their research before coming out with this story.  When was the last time a celebrity/athlete lied or falsified the past to gain their 15 mins.  Everyday on every reality show?

@d21  @MattMooreCBS No way we would even entertain this dude.  He's a good player not a great one like he thinks he is.  He reminds me of a Tracy McGrady or Terrel Owens.  "Love me some me".

@justin_mia That and blocking out Faried and McGee.  Those guys just live for offensive rebounds and McGee loves to try to jump over you and tip it out.

My only problem with this article is look at the bigs mentioned in the article (Vucevic, Boozer, Noah, M. Gasol, Randolph, Millsap, and Jefferson).  All of those bigs are pretty good offensive players (i.e. meaning if they get an offensive rebound they know what to do with it)  and are more mobile than Perk (i.e. chase down boards).  With Perk on the floor, our offense gets bogged down, because we are playing 4 vs. 5 against Miami, and his defense isn't really a plus because Miami has no real post threat.  The only way i can see this playing 2 bigs at the same time plan working is playing Collison and Ibaka.  Collison can guard their stretch 4 or at least not lose their man like Ibaka, and out rebound their smaller players.

Here is what I see.  Coach Brooks has no confidence in our bench what so ever.  He rides WB and KD for 40 mins a night or else we have real problem keeping up.  I don't believe KMART is the answer, and the only way any rookie will contribute in the future is by getting minutes now.  So below I have a proposal to offload KMART, Maynor, and give Dallas their 1st rounder back and/or give them ours for this next year.   (Although the 66ers will be dissappointed by not getting a good player next year) In return, we receive Marion and Darren Collison.  Provides bench help with D. Collison being the back up PG who can create, and Marion can guard anyone from Lebron, Kobe, B Griffin, etc.  Allows Coach Brooks to play some vets and opens up a spot for J. Lamb to get some mins.  Thoughts?
