I damn near picked up this rookie starting pitcher for the Brewers on my fantasy team, purely because he was facing the Dodgers. Glad I didn't. :)
Ok I'm at work and can't watch, am just getting the gamecast updates. How in the holy hell did Ramon Hernadez reach on an infield single to the pitcher?????
@ThtsaPaddlin @baeksu From me? Nearest damage is about 10 miles east of me. The parents at my school were flat freaking out this afternoon, though. Gotta feel for those folks in Moore; this one hit almost the exact same spot that was leveled in 1999. They're still pulling kids out of one of the elementary schools that was hit. The kids I saw them pulling out were alive but shaken up. The good news is that we're not hearing about a LOT of fatalities yet, but it's still early.
I'm ok. Tornado just missed me. Thoughts/prayers for the folks a few miles east of me, though. I was here during the May 3, 1999 storm and this seems every bit as bad.
@JackedNate He's been absolutely horrific since the perfect game... like one of the worst pitchers in the game, easily. Just a weird story. Shows you how statistical flukes can happen. Dude will go down in history, though. He'll probably end up being the only pitcher in history to throw a perfect game and not make the Hall Of Fame.
Phillip Humber just got DFA'd by the Houston Astros. Yeah, that's the same guy who threw the perfect game last year.

Man. Miami is really bad.
Don't get me wrong; great win for my Dodgers and hopefully gets things on the right track. But they're booting things around the outfield, passed balls, just missing some routine stuff.
Getting to 2nd base should be charged to Kemp. Lollygagging.
