I don't understand why most sonicfans blame Clay Bennett? Howard Shultz knew that Bennett wanted to move the team to OKC! Our politicians could have held Bennett to the lease but were greedy and felt the sonics brought no economic value to the city. Same politicians that keep getting elected. I do feel Seattle got screwed but not by Bennett! He did what anyone of us would have done to bring a team to his town. If I had more internal fortitude I would never drink Starbucks again! Shultz is a douche.

I am pretty sure you went through one losing season! Clay Bennett traded away ray Allen, and rashard Lewis. Drafting Kd was a no brainer. I wonder how excited you guys would be or good if Portland took Durant instead of Oden? Durant turned that franchise around! You guys know nothing about supporting a bad team for 10yrs! Time will tell how good your fans are. I doubt you would draw 10,000 fans in a lame duck season.
@1 Knee 4 Points 5 Rebounds 35 Million Dollars @Keith00 @anonymous12345 Bennett did hire Presti as a GM for the Sonics! Smart Hire! I know that Howard Shultz and all of his horrible decisions are to blame for the Sonics leaving. KD was a cant miss. You cant draft 7' high school centers and undersized point gaurds and expect to be good! Sonics front office did suck!

Foundation for what you guys have now was built here! We had 10 years of bad basketball and finally got Durant in the draft which is a franchise changer. That same year we got rid of Ray Allen, and Rashard Lewis. Sam Presti is one of the best GM but It is easy to go young and build the team for the future in OKC!
@anonymous12345 Thunder were built in Seattle!
Lets see if you like your team when KD retires and you guys suck! NBA teams go through losing seasons but you havent felt that yet because the thunder were buit in Seattle! We supported the Sonics even when we knew they were leaving. Look at the attendance that year!
