Justin--Right on! I absolutely agree that there's no room for intolerance and bigotry. Unfortunately, it is far too prevalent, and it extends far beyond religion. There is bigotry in sexism, orientation, politics, nationality, race, and just about every distinction mankind makes between people. Good to see you speak out. Unforunately, as a friend of mine says, "there is no cure for stupid." He also says, "they walk among us, and they vote!"

There is no good reason to delete features or programs that people use, and that includes Google Buzz. These could easily be folded into other Google services, such as Google +. It is illogical and a disservice to eliminate them. via @ptaylor98

@samfiorella I absolutely agree. Klout is misleading and whimsical. Yeah, let's add it to the list!

Absolutely agree with this one. If I want a guru, I'll go to India. And anyone who claims to be an expert probably isn't. These titles can only be conferred by others, not self-proclaimed.

@dragonblogger Thanks for the review of Google Plus Search. It's a tool I've needed since I often want to find a specific topic or posting. which I do easily on Twitter. And, BTW, I think the Livefyre commenting system is easy to use and encourages comments, since it picks up my Twitter handle and avatar

I think these statistics show that Twitter is healthy and growing. It also indicates that Google+ is having less of an impact on Twitter than Facebook. Twitter's simplicity is a strong drawing card to users like me.

@dragonblogger Congratulations, Justin. I'm sure you will enjoy your breaks at the beach. I lived on the beach for many years in Ocean City and Brigantine, New Jersey, and the pounding surf and changing colors were always refreshing and relaxing. Enjoy your "cottage" with your family, and post lots of pictures!

@samfiorella I didn't mean to imply that I choose to follow based solely on Klout score, just that it's one variable to consider. But it's a good first indicator of whether a person is active on Twitter or just a lurker. Thanks for you comment however. Actual interaction is key.

I use Klout and I monitor it, especially to evaluate potential new people to follow, but I actually prefer Peerindex.com, which seems to have a better formula and provides specific information about the person's interests, usage, and influence. Both are useful tools,

I agree that Klout's metrics seem flawed. If you have to gauge influence by number, I use Peerindex.com which offers much more (and accurate, relevant) detail. Check my Klout @ptaylor98 as well as my friend @vincenthunt, who is far more inluential than I am, and you'll see the difference.

I agree completely. My ow Klout score (50) mysteriously fluctuates several points, regardless of what or how ofyen I tweet. I think Peerinfluence.net has better and more stable metrics. But i do use Klout as a quickk reference to learn the value of my contacts.
