Maybe the guy said he was going to his car to get a gun.
Probably not, but that's the only way hill should get off the hook.
@I4Bama we'll see. thats what happens when you have such a great recruiting class. the d will be young, but all the starters will have significant experience, and half the backups, except one DE.
@GeoffDawg simon has mouths to feed. ware and ford were passed on depth chart. wing will be drafted and that says a lot for a punter. faulk was probably influenced by a lsu OL ciron black who was in a similar situation a couple years ago. he came back and got injured---draft position plummeted. this is really just a symptom of lsu having tons of great juniors.
this is the one that hurts. still its tough to blame him, with 4th round money at $2.5 mil now.
add les miles to the list in two years when he meets the 10 year requirement.
.800 win pct. (better than bryant or saban)
when is this going to be the downfall of national college football? eventually you would think that recruiting outside the south will suffer and then nothing but snowball. perhaps the nfl popularity will prevent this from happening?
@TruancyBot happens every year. all are either good decisions (good chance at 1st round--mingo, montgomery, reid, minter) or replaceable (ware, simon, wing). faulk and logan would be the tougher ones if they leave.
simon has kids and needs the money.
