DD "It works for us geographically" - Obama couldn't spin the inclusion of West Virginia as geographically friendly to the public any better. DD knows that in years when his team only marginally underachieves or better, then he has the easiest path to potential BCS-level bowl than if they added teams with chops. And he knows the Big12(10) won't take a whizz without asking his permission. You really believe had they to do it over, WVU wouldn't prefer the Big10 (unlikely the Big10 would want them) or ACC (who appears willing to take about anyone).

The fact we "brag" about our brethren who annually throttle the attempts to dethrone the SEC, well that’s part of what makes the SEC the SEC. Collective pride should be encouraged. It’s better than the legion of over-educated “sports journalists” who look for opportunities to diss the southern masses, only to be left eating the crow that flies our southern skies.

Could not get over how many empty sections (not just seats) there were. Never in my nearly half a century life have there been so many empty seats at the Sugar Bowl. Can't believe UF fans, who haven't had much to cheer about since Tebow left town, could only sell 7,000 tickets of their 17,500 allotment to the premier SEC tie-in bowl in New Orleans.
